During the latter part of December, 1965, Sharon & Tom Onak embarked on a Bales Tour to Egypt. Tom took both slides (Exacta SL camera) and movies (8 mm Bolex). Sharon kept a journal from which she is now reading. The tour took us first to Cairo, Giza, and Memphis, then on to Luxor, and Karnak. By boat we sailed to Dendera, Esna, Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Aswan. We returned to Luxor , then onto Cairo by air. We subsequently flew back to England where we were living at the time.
