Ranchi,June 30 (ANI):A day after killing 27 jawans and injuring seven in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur District,the Maoists today called for 48 hour shutdown in five states including,Jharkhand,Bengal,Orissa,Bihar and Chhattisgarh.The rebels have cited anti-people policies of the government of India,referring to the disinvestment policies and recent price rise,as the reason behind the shutdown. Many trains have been cancelled or have been diverted.Security forces have been deployed at strategic places and the state police are also taking the help of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) to handle any violent situations.

After a extraordinary part 1 of my railfanning experience, here is part 2 to wrap up my 2 part railfanning video of that day. Train #1: After meeting with the Empire Builder, a BNSF Canadian Manifest Train rumbles off the MP 18 siding and into the main line. Train #2: After meeting with the Manifest train, Amtrak Cascades Train #516 makes a station stop at Edmonds. It was running 15 minutes late due to the backlog of traffic thanks to the trespassing incident that involves a Sounder Train. Train #3: My final train of the day was a BNSF Garbage Train rumbling through Edmonds as it slowly picks up speed through the town. And that concludes my railfanning day. I am planning to railfan on Wednesday, so stay tuned for more train actions.
