This 6 minute video was given to KPCC's Steve Julian, courtesy of a Monrovia city firefighter. The video is shot at the entrance to Big Tujunga Canyon. As fire creeps closer to structures, you can hear their concerns of laying out hose lines over fears that electrical wires above crews might collapse.

This is a time lapse shot taken from my backyard. The camera is pointing at the top of Mt. Lukens which is the mountain that towers over Tujunga and La Crescenta. I shot this footage on my Flip HD. The original shot was two hours long and goes from late afternoon to night. The song was chosen to celebrate the hard work of the firefighters and the fact that no homes in Tujunga or the immediate area were harmed.
this clip was taken from a knoll by the 210 freeway looking East to the Sunland area. The crane helicopter is dropping on a flare-up.
The flames more than quadruple in size during the four and a half minutes of this video. Sorry for the shaky video. I was trying to hold the camera above my head to get the right perspective and I was getting tired. About 22 seconds into the third video you can see a flare go off on the left border of the video. Later on, a helicopter shows up and makes an air drop. I first assumed that the flare was used to set a back fire but perhaps it was used to signal the helicopter....

Video from the Southwest corner of the Station Fire with air attack operations underway. During this video, new evacuations were announced for Tujunga and upper Glendale near the hot spots. Spots on lens are from taking too many pictures into the sun.
