Diablo String Band performs energetic old-time music, featuring inspired fiddle tunes and vocal numbers. The band leader and banjo player, Carl Pagter, is the founder of the California Bluegrass Association. Harry Liedstrand, fiddler, was a member of the legendary Sweets Mill Sting Band. Harrys wife Cindy is the guitarist, and Carls son Corbin plays the mandolin. Well-known local musician, Matt Dudman rounds out the group on string bass.

Movie Review: You may not have heard about this film, but don't let a case of bad marketing deter you from watching it. Because hey, here's your chance to savour an intelligent thriller from the desi cinema mills, after a long-long time. Actually, Right Yaa Wrong is neither a mystery nor a thriller. It keeps the viewer in the loop from the word go as it unfolds a murder-gone-wrong drama. Nevertheless, it keeps you at the edge of the seat for most of its engrossing length and breadth. And that's because of quite a few reasons. First and foremost, the film boasts of an intelligent script which tackles the run-of-the-mill murder and courtroom drama with a teasing twist in the tale. The story runs on two tracks. At one level, there is the domestic drama where cuckolded husband, Sunny Deol, must contend with his physical debility on one hand and his wife's infidelities on the other. And at the other level, there is his friendship with his colleague and buddy cop, Irrfan Khan, which is jeopardised by suspicion, mistrust and questions of moral ambiguity (right or wrong). Irrfan, obviously, is punctiliously wedded to the right and is determined to get after all lawbreakers, even if that entails gunning for his best friend. Add to this, a budding, albeit unsaid, romance between the beleaguered cop, Sunny and Konkona Sen Sharma, Irrfan's lawyer sister, and you have a network of tantalising bonds that keep the tempo running. History An integrated steel mill was established on the southeast side of Sydney Harbour in the Whitney Pier neighbourhood of Sydney, Nova Scotia in 1901 by American investors. This entity was named Dominion Iron and Steel Company Limited (DISCO) and was a subsidiary to the Dominion Coal Company Limited (DOMCO). DOMCO coal was used to create coke to fuel the blast furnaces for smelting iron ore which arrived from Bell Island in Newfoundland. In 1920, DISCO merged with the Nova Scotia Steel and Coal Company (SCOTIA) to form British Empire Steel Corporation (BESCO). In 1930, BESCO reorganized as Dominion Steel and Coal Corporation (DOSCO). In 1957, DOSCO was purchased by AV Roe Canada, which was later purchased and made a subsidiary of Hawker Siddeley Canada in 1962. Hawker Siddeley sought to eliminate money losing operations and in 1965, DOSCO announced that its mines had only 15 years of production left and concluded that the cost of opening new underground mines in the Sydney Coal Field would be too expensive. Karan Singh Grover has his ex-wife and the producers of Dill Mill Gayye puzzled. Apparently, he used to tell his wife Shraddha Nigam before their separation (as reported by Mumbai Mirror, October 6) that he was leaving for a 9am shoot but would only reach the sets at 4pm. Meanwhile, the production house suffered as Karan spent much less time shooting than he was committed to. Now, the producers, Cinevistaa, have filed a complaint against him with CINTAA (Cine & TV Artistes Association) and will sue him to cover their losses of about Rs 2 crore. Karan would often turn up late or not reports to the sets, even though Shraddha thought he was diligently slaving over his shoots. Not so long ago, Shraddha called up Cinevistaa for some work and asked for Karan, only to learn that he hadn't shown up. Cinevistaa's Managing Director, Sunil Mehta confirmed that his company has written to CINTAA complaining about Karan Grover. He said, We've written to CINTAA telling them about Karan's behaviour and the fact that we plan to sue him. He used to come at 4pm for a 9am shift and would leave by 10pm. My company has suffered a loss of over Rs 2 crore. We definitely intend to sue him. Shraddha was scandalised when my son told her that he has not reported for work, when she thought he'd left for a 9am shift. At one point of time, we had thought of making a film with him as the lead actor. Now, Karan's film with Mukesh Bhatt is not happening. Ditto for his film with UTV. Success, fame ...

This is my second mix on KaJen and I tried to make it extra romantic. Hope it worked! :-) Since the song was too long and KaJen don't have too many extra romantic scenes (AR romance is never enough! ;-)).. so, I re-used a couple of them..sorry about that... Roan Mountain Hilltoppers complete in "Band" category and Bill Birchfield competes in "Fiddle" category at the 83rd Johnson County Old Time Fiddlers Convention on 22 August 2008. The selection performed are "Train 45 /Reuben's Train" and "Lost Indian". This band has been a regular for years at this convention. Cloggers joined in at the stage front. Held every year since 1925 somewhere in Johnson County, Tennessee this may be the longest running "old time" fiddlers convention in the southern Appalachians. For the last 17 years it has been held at the "Old Mill Music Park" in Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee.

As part of the Species Survival Plan for Red Wolves in North America, these two brothers will stay at the Mill Mountain zoo until they mature and are paired with a mate for breeding. Black Hornbills: Perhaps the only breeding pair of this species in North American Zoos, we are very excited to be able to include them in our bird collection. Baby Porcupines: The stork made an early visit to us with the birth of two Indian Crested porcupines. The babies, born March 5, will make their public debut on Saturday, April 12 (weather permitting). Baby porcupines called porcupets are born with soft quills that harden upon exposure to the air. Interactive Aviary (in video): Work has begun on converting the old central exhibit into an interactive aviary. Featuring birds from around the world, this walk-through environment will allow the public to get up close and personal with its occupants and have the opportunity to hand feed some of the birds. Asian Black Vultures: Work is occurring on a new exhibit to display these large powerful raptors from Southeast Asia. Both our birds are only ten months old at this time, but when mature, will play a vital role in preserving the species in the wilds of Mongolia.
