HowardPerks.com http WorldVentures was my top choice as my MLM Opportunity! There are many reasons that I chose an MLM business in the travel industry and many more key points that caught my attention with WorldVentures. My decision to join forces with WorldVentures is highlighted below... 1 ~ Product -- Travel and Vacations. I don't have to convince anyone to go on vacation or want to save money. Most people want to vacation more and save money doing it but they don't know how! Also, we naturally talk about our vacations, so it's easy to share because we already do it anyway. The product stands alone even without network marketing and that was critical in my decision! 2 ~ Industry -- Travel is the largest industry in the world and is expected to double over the next 10 years because of the Baby-Boomers retiring. What do you think they want to do in their golden years? 3 ~Timing - WorldVentures is about 5 years young and still in pre-momentum. Meaning, they are past the point where most MLM companies fail in the first 2 years of business. Also, about 11 countries just opened and huge market share is available. Know anyone in USA, UK, Kenya, South Africa, Botswana, Singapore, Israel, Cyprus, Sweden, Germany, Malta or The Netherlands? If you do, these regions are wide open! There are many more reasons highlighted in my full review @ howardperks.com To learn more visit my blog or go to howieperks.newplana.com

UKFast hosts discussions with the UK's leading experts, asking the question "What are the key drivers for the online travel industry in 2010?" The UKFast Round Tables aim to unite business leaders to dispense advice for other companies looking to manage their own success, and to tackle varying and sometimes difficult themes and issues, like the troubled travel industry in 2010. Travel industry round table identifies value as key element in 2010 With price-comparison websites providing more choice to consumers and the recession hitting leisure and travel spend hardest, value was identified as the key concern for 2010 at an industry round table. The event, hosted by UKFast involved lively debate about how the travel industry has been influenced by the rise of the internet as part of the decision-making process when booking leisure pursuits. While the freedom of the internet has made holidaymakers more aware of price, the discussion also revealed that it had taken the focus away from vital industry regulations. As the demise of XL Leisure Group highlighted, customers are now at risk of substituting their protections in search of the cheapest deal. Fierce competition within the sector was also identified as a route to mislead consumers with price-comparison basket prices often being substantially different to those initially advertised. Lawrence Jones, managing director of UKFast, said, "I think the big difficulty travel businesses have on the internet is that there is too ...

The nation's best window dressers were revealed at the finale of UK-wide window dressing competition. Launched by Mary 'Queen of Shops' Portas, the final saw the best student and professional visual merchandisers from across the UK create window displays against the clock and judged by industry professionals at the annual event at London's Olympia. As the Sector Skills Council called on retailers to continue investing in their skills to help them prepare for the economic upturn the accolade of the nation's most highly skilled window dressers (Visual Merchandising) was given to Rachel Love Cameron and Sara Walsh of the stylish Belfast store Avoca. They wowed judges with their fantasy 'teatime' display, beating the two other finalists in the retail category from Marmalade in Axminster, Devon and Swarovski in Dundee. In a tough economic period for retail, this competition was a timely reminder how important visual merchandising can be. Visual merchandisers across the UK can change the fortunes of any shop with the people behind the displays being the unsung heroes of retail! With an estimated 22000 visual merchandisers in the UK the, significance of skilling up in this role is further evident. Prime Minister Golding and Tourism Minister Bartlett from Jamaica met MP Diane Abbott and members of parliament in an increased effort to lobby the British government about the increase in Air Passenger Duty (APD). Minister Bartlett said that the increase in APD is unfair and undermines Jamaican and Caribbean tourism. During the meetings today, he argued that the proposed new structure of the APD, in which countries are placed in charging bands determined by the distance of their capital city from London, was discriminatory, in that it favoured large developed countries over smaller ones, which operate in the same highly competitive environment. This week Minister Bartlett, accompanied by Director of Tourism for Jamaica, Mr John Lynch, is also due to meet with travel industry leaders including; Jim Forster, British Airways General Manager Regulatory & Government Affairs; Andy Cooper, Head of Business Development and Consumer Affairs ABTA & FTO, and Head of the World Travel & Tourism Council, Jean Claude Baumgarten to discuss the impact of the increase in APD on the travel industry. He will also meet with Conservative MP Greg Hands, known to have criticised the tax from its inception. The increased tax is inherently unfair and not the least bit green, the Minister stated. The structure of APD as an environmental tax, suggests that the impact of a flight to Jamaica or Barbados is greater than one to Miami, Los Angeles or Honolulu. Why should Caribbean countries with ...

With the raised influenza pandemic level to phase four the travel industry may be feeling the heat during this summers travel season. This however has not stopped some tourist, while others are saying that the outbreak has been blown out of proportion. Here's more on the story. The streets of Catalonia, Spain continue to be filled with tourists. This in light of 10 suspected cases of swine flu in the region, and one man that has tested positive for the virus. At the city's main airport, El Prat on Tuesday, only a handful of people could be seen wearing the white masks Fears of human-to-human transmission of the disease have caused many countries to issue advisories but many tourists are confident in travelling abroad. [Jerry Ernst, Tourist] "You have to think the relative number of cases, it is not a huge number when you take all of the people around the world into consideration but I did notice Asian people who have had the experience with this kind of thing before had the masks on." In a time when the travel industry is already caught in the midst of a global recession, the swine flu outbreak has reminded some investors of the SARS epidemic in Asia, the fear now is that it will takes its toll - resulting in battered airline stocks in foreign trading. The World Health Organization raised its level of influenza pandemic alert from phase 3 to phase 4, after the organization's Emergency Committee investigated outbreaks in the US, Mexico and Canada. The hardest hit has been ...
