The story begins with Indu (manjari) who is an avid follower of dance and music. Her family has an unusual combination- her father (vizag prasad) is Telugu, mother is Malayali, her uncles (sudarshan and ashok kumar) are married to ladies from Chennai and Kolkata. Things take a turn with the arrival of Chakri (allari naresh) who is also a talented singer but he is not a trained or professional one. He falls in love with Indu and she reciprocates his feelings. However, the arrival of a rich man (Sarath Babu) brings a twist in the story and also the profession of Chakri comes as a surprise. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
