Campus Conversations - UNC Charlotte Baseball - Spring 2010
The University of North Carolina asked Old Hat to help with their Thumbs Up campaign for baseball. OH editors put together a quick montage of Mr. Arthur Fonzarelli aka "The Fonz" from the beloved hit television sitcom Happy Days. This project was quickly renamed the "Fontage." We're still waiting to hear back on another Fontage featuring the phrase "Sit on It" or the proposed spin-off montage featuring Chachi. Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
UNC came to Old Hat wanting some animations with the Fonzie thumbs up. This was to replace fist pounding on the diamond in Chapel Hill. Instead of animating a realistic looking hand doing a thumbs up, OH used a real hand in a UNC batting glove (right, left and both) against a green screen. Then OH editors put that against animated UNC-themed graphics in the background.
