My dear Uncle Henry is living with my husband and I since he got out of the hospital for a heart condition. He's a great person with a world of knowledge. He's also a vet who served in the Marines during the Korean War. He has a great sense of humor and we have many great times with him.

This is the first episode of the Uncle Henry Show from February 23, 1989. It is the first time I ever appeared in public as Uncle Henry. The guest is deejay Will Pendarvis, aka Your 'Ol Pal Will. He was the first person to put me on the air, anywhere, as Uncle Henry. In our chat we discuss WABB, how Will got his job there, and who he admired at the time. As of July 2009, I think Will works for Sirius Satellite Radio.
One of the best actors of all time, Christopher Plummer of "The Sound of Music," was in Mobile in early 1990 to make the movie "Firehead." He attended a Cystic Fibrosis Golf Fundraiser, and agreed to this interview. Mr. Plummer speaks affectionately about Mobile and Eugene Walter.
