News Source CBS4 " The twin sisters who were killed in Jupiter on Thanksgiving Day will be remembered at a candlelight vigil Monday night at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church. Carla Merhige and Lisa Knight, 33, of Miami, were parishioners at the church and were known for their talented voices. They would often sing at funerals, weddings and holiday parties, according to CBS4 news partner The Miami Herald. The vigil will begin at 7:30 pm at 2055 Coral Way in Miami. The church pastor Rev. Elie Mikhael told the newspaper he was expecting more than 250 people. ``Just by their personalities, their presence, their devotion, their smiles, [they were] very unique girls,'' Mikhael told The Herald. Meanwhile, their suspected killer -- Paul Michael Merhige -- accused of killing them and two other family members on Thanksgiving in their Jupiter home has now made the list of America's Most Wanted. The FBI, the US Marshalls Service and the Florida Highway Patrol are searching for 35-year-year old Paul Michael Merhige who until recently had lived in a Kendall home with his parents. Merhige graduated the Gulliver Academy in Pinecrest with honors and went on to attend the University of Miami. Luis Sanchez, the family's long-time handyman, described Merhige as a "conflictive" person, as he spoke with reporters outside the family home. Among those shot dead were Merhige's twin sisters, Carla, and Lisa Merhige Knight, both 34. Carla was a project coordinator for the Miami-Dade ...

Three of the most influential artists ever, true legends and role models for thousands of people. Sadly they are not amongst us anymore but their music is still alive and will be alive for many years to come. To celebrate these three legends of music I created this remix to highlight what all three of them were fighting for : make the world a better place. RIP Tupac Shakur (Hip-Hop Legend) June 16, 1971 - September 13, 1996 On the night of September 7, 1996, Shakur was shot four times in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada. Attempts at resuscitating him by his personal physician were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at 2: 26 pm local time. RIP Bob Marley (Reggae Legend) While flying home from Germany to Jamaica for his final days, Marley became ill, and landed in Miami for immediate medical attention. He died at Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in Miami on the morning of May 11, 1981, at the age of 36. February 6, 1945 - May 11, 1981
This is my favorite LMFAO song, I missed the first 30 secs or so on video sadly. We tried to get closer and at first went to one said of stage where you could not see a thing at allll and then went to another where we found a random path to the stage. Right after 35 secs, and a few times after that Skyblue looks into the camera! Couldnt believe how close we were . Video was taken at Memorial University in Newfoundland. The purpose of this video is to help promote LMFAO.
Here's another video that I've updated into HD quality. This storm passed to the northeast of Calgary back in the late summer of 2005. If you watch carefully, you'll see several flashes and bolts of lightning. I happened to be attending university at the time, and a fellow classmate who lived out on a farm in that area mentioned that this storm spawned a tornado (notice the thin horizontal wall clouds; usually an indicator of storms capable of twisters). Luckily the tornado didn't do any damage out in the sparsely populated zone. A good couple of hours of shooting went into the making of this time lapse movie; a total of 151 frames.

From unheralded draft pick to fast evolving NBA star, Dwyane Wade has experienced a whirlwind career in fewer than two years. Perhaps this might have been expected of a player widely known as Flash. In his first season (2003-04), the Chicago-area native who also flashed his athletic brilliance for Marquette University, achieved NBA All-Rookie Team status with the Miami Heat. Before he knew it, Dwyane was an Olympian, representing the United States in the 2004 Athens Summer Games. Now hes a major catalyst behind the Heats current NBA campaign with a new teammate and admirer, former LA Laker Shaquille ONeal. ONeal is on the record saying that Dwyane is the most phenomenal second-year player he has seen since himself, and has praised his young teammate for possessing fire and heart, and all of the qualities of a great competitor as the Heat have emerged as the team to beat in the NBAs Eastern Conference. Dwyane joined the Heat as the fifth pick of the 2003 NBA Draft. In 56 starts, Dwyane averaged a solid 16.2 points in 35 minutes per game, and was one of the reasons the Heat emerged as an unlikely #4 seed in the 2004 playoffs. Yet it was Dwyanes all-world showing in the playoffs that solidified his spot as one of the NBAs brightest young performers. Wade led the Heat in scoring in seven of the teams 13 playoff games. Dwyanes heroics in Games Five and Six of the opening round led the Heat past the New Orleans Hornets and into the Conference semifinals against the top-seeded ...

Almario Vernard "Mario" Chalmers (born May 19, 1986 in Anchorage, Alaska)[1] is an American professional basketball player for the Miami Heat of the NBA.[2] He was selected 34th overall in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves. Chalmers played for the University of Kansas in college for three seasons, including the 200708 national championship team, shooting the final shot of regulation to send the game against the Memphis Tigers into overtime, with Kansas eventually winning the game.[3] In the 20062007 Big 12 Coaches Awards, Chalmers was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year with Marcus Dove of Oklahoma State. Chalmers was also voted on the All Big 12 Third Team, and the All Big 12 Defensive Team. In the 20072008 season, Chalmers was named Big 12 All-Defensive First Team and All Big 12 Second Team. He was also named Most Outstanding Player of the 2008 NCAA Championship.[4] After working out for 13 teams, Chalmers was drafted with the 34th overall pick in the second round of the 2008 NBA draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves. When asked immediately after being drafted how many times he had watched his overtime-forcing three-pointer against Memphis in the NCAA championship, Chalmers responded, "a million times." The rights to Chalmers were later included in a trade with the Miami Heat.[8] On September 3, 2008, Chalmers and fellow former Kansas Jayhawks teammate Darrell Arthur were excused from the NBA's rookie transition program for a marijuana-related incident ...
BOSTON(AP) Ray Allen landed the final blow in a memorable duel with Ben Gordon on Monday night, shooting the Boston Celtics back into their first-round series. Allen made a tiebreaking 3-pointer with 2 seconds left and finished with 30 points, leading the Celtics a 118-115 win over the Chicago Bulls. Gordon nearly carried Chicago to a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. He scored with 12.3 seconds left to tie it, the final hoop of his playoff career-high 42 points. Then Boston set up a play for Allen, who took a pass from Rajon Rondo and connected from the right side. Allen scored 28 points after getting some advice from coach Doc Rivers at halftime. "Doc said going into the half, 'Be aggressive, but let it come to you,''' Allen said. "I never think I'm not in my rhythm. It can be a grind as a shooter. As a scorer you're always trying to find something.'' Allen and Gordon each had several clutch baskets in the second half as the former University of Connecticut guards battled for control of the game. After Tyrus Thomas missed a shot from midcourt as time expired, Allen headed for his bench where injured Kevin Garnett delivered a couple of congratulatory slaps - to his head and chest. Allen said he doesn't like "being made a fuss over.'' But that was unavoidable after he broke out of his shooting slump. He scored just four points on 1-for-12 shooting and missed the final shot in Chicago's 105-103 overtime win Saturday. "It felt like we were at UConn in the summertime ...
This video was captured at the Mad Anthony Writer's Conference in Hamilton, Ohio (Harry T. Wilks Conference Center at Miami University, Hamilton). I was invited to come back in 2009 and teach this workshop to a class of ten writers. I'm not an expert on the subject, in my opinion, but I do love to teach and help other writers. So, I figured I'd take the videos online and dedicate a channel to shooting and producing videos for other writers to view and get some tips and tricks.

The senior sharpshooter scored 30 points to break Johnny Dawkins' school record and help the second-ranked Blue Devils beat Miami 92-71 on Sunday, a win that could push them back to No. 1. Redick finished 10-for-15 from the field and hit six 3-pointers for the Blue Devils (25-1, 13-0 Atlantic Coast Conference), passing Dawkins, now an assistant coach at Duke, by one point on the career list with 2557 points. Redick also moved into second place on the ACC career list, 30 points behind Wake Forest's Dickie Hemric. Redick said he felt blessed to set the record. He also sounded relieved to move forward after weeks of hearing fans count down his pursuit of history or scream for him to shoot practically every time he touched the ball. "I've tried to stay focused on the team all year, but these last two games as they've approached it's been tough," Redick said. "It is nice to take care of the record and get back to focusing on the team, which is the most important thing." It was just the latest in a growing list of milestones for Redick. Redick set the NCAA record for career 3-pointers in Tuesday's win against Wake Forest, and followed that with his school-record 13th ...
