Congressman Hank Johnson believes that Guam might tip over if to many people get on one side or the other. I guess he thinks Islands float and aren't tops of mountains which are under water. He also believes in humans caused global warming just like AL Gore, who has said repeatedly that he is not a scientist, and who now has denounced humans causing global warming, but now its a religious issue (earth worship) and he now calls it "climate change". Just another push for UN Agenda 21. Is this a refection of our leadership today? I think it is, we are run by idiots... who don't know but are told to say. America, the world is looking at us and laughing at us. Perhaps we should pay more attention to the people who promote policy for all of us. Would any of you leave your kids with this man for at time? No...but we are leaving our whole nation to idiots...so you are leaving your kids to these type of people. This is a real quick video of me shooting a friend's Springfield Armory M1A. He got his off gunbroker for $1260 and it was in brand new condition. Please excuse the fidgeting, we were having problems with the "bench rest" we had. Official nomenclature: US rifle, caliber 7.62mm, M14 is a gas-operated, magazine-fed, air-cooled, semi-automatic, and automatic weapon. Its main design came from the M1 Garand, the most notable changes being a detachable 20-round magazine, different caliber (7.62 NATO as opposed to 30.06 Springfield), different "tap-back" gas system, full-auto capability, and a 5-slot "star" flash suppressor. The M1A is the civilian version of the M14 service rifle. The M14 rifle replaced the M1 Garand and was adopted by the US Military after the Korean War but saw limited combat in Vietnam before being replaced by the M16A1. The M14 has still been in use with the Navy Seals since its inception, as well as other spec ops units using it even when the M16 was the main issued rifle. Due to recent needs, the M14 has begun getting dusted off and sent to the sandbox with regular units in large quantities and are used in the designated marksman role. I decided it was time to take out my Savage US Property No. 4 Mk. 1 Lee Enfield rifle. This was the standard-issue rifle of Great Britain and Canada during World War II. The Lee Enfield series rifle was used by great Britain for much longer before and after the war though. I picked this one up at Big 5 Sporting Goods for $239 back in 2008. All the numbers match except for the magazine, which is a line-out. I decided to do 10 rounds fired at a 100 Yd steel plate in the "Mad Minute" fashion. The "Mad Minute" was developed during World War I in which a group of British soldiers would fire as many semi-aimed rounds as fast as possible in one minute. Some German soldiers were said to have mistaken this action as machine gun fire. The Lee Enfield rifle has one of the smoothest and fastest actions of any bolt action rifle I've ever encountered, easily allowing the "Mad Minute" better than any other rifle could. The major advantage of this rifle is that it is accurate. If it had better sights, this rifle could be as accurate as the K98k Mauser rifle, but it is still extremely on-target. The only flaw with this rifle is that reliable surplus has dried up for it, and the ammo can be expensive, so I wanted to capture this on film because expending this much ammo is a big deal for this weapon! First of all the song is owned by the Beastie Boys and all US Copyright law applies to this song. I went out again to the Los Alamos Sportsman's Club and shot my Mitchell's Mauser K98k German rifle. The rifle was the standard-issue rifle of the German military during World War II. Mine was made in 1935, it has the receiver stamp of "S/42G". A youtube user has told me that it has an incorrect butt plate for a K98k made in 1935, and I am researching this claim. If true, I will order the correct butt plate. It's very accurate, even at 300 Yds with the iron sights. I own several AR15's and this rifle holds its own against them, even though it was made over 70 years ago. This is a montage I put together for Memorial Day this year. The music is The Gunner's Dream by Pink Floyd, words and music by Roger Waters. The pictures are from the national archives for the most part, they all are from WWII (except for stock photos of Arlington and a Mushroom Cloud photo). This montage, like the song, strives to illustrate the sacrifice our fathers, uncles, grandfathers, great grandfathers, etc made in Europe and the Pacific. They didn't fight because they had to, not even because they were asked to, they fought to put an end to Fascism and oppression, to provide a better world for us. It is chambered for the 5.56x45mm NATO round. It currently serves as the standard issue service rifle for the German Military. In addition, the G36 is used by various Military and police agencies around the world, including a few police departments in the US like the LAPD. The Airsoft Gun: The JG G36c is a great AEG if you are on a budget. It comes with a china made 1100mah 8.4v battery, which isnt that bad. This JG has a relatively good ROF compared to other JGs. Being a Tokyo Marui clone, this gun will accept TM G36 mags as well as any after market parts for the TM G36. Since this is a China made gun, you need to make sure you don't go crazy with it.
