November 2, 2010 America will experience an "earthquake election" - US voters will go to the polls in midterm elections on Tuesday for races in the House of Representatives and the Senate as well as state and local offices. Analysts say the elections could change the balance of power in Washington, where Democrats control the White House and dominate both houses of Congress. Thirty-seven Senate seats are up for election across the country. And analysts say tight races in Western states like California could help to give the Republican Party a majority in the Senate. Republicans need to gain 10 seats to dominate that body. But public opinion surveys suggest that will be difficult.
Poll results in the US Senate race in Delaware between Democrat Chris Coons and Republican Christine O'Donnell were released Wednesday by Fairleigh-Dickinson University at a press conference at The News Journal. (10/28/10)
Outstanding WWE CEO Linda McMahon is running for Senate in the State of Connecticut this coming November. Unfortunately, she and the WWE have fallen victim to a serious series of malicious attacks from misinformed opponents.
In November, 2010...I believe Republicans are going to defeat the Democrats by a large margin. Democrats have done absolutely nothing except violate the Constitution and prove that we need term limits. Senators and Congressmen who are in office for a long period of time tend to lose touch with reality and tend to have no idea what the people in their particular states need. Excitement intensifies in the crowd as the election results come in.
Will Patty Murray lose to Dino Rossi? Yes, but only if we get out and hit the streets. If we do as we always do, which is to vote, then that will not be enough. We need to get involved, we need to take action. The least that you should do if you live in Washington is to get at least three people of stable mind to vote who normally do not vote. This is worth more than a $100 contribution to the Rossi campaign, and it will save you a hundred bucks. But of course they need money too, so give them 10 bucks as well. It is clear to all but the most obtuse among us that the democrat policies put in place, and to a greater degree the democrat policies still left to be put in place, like the cap and trade bill, will continue to stagnate this economy for years to come. The only true hope that we have is for drastic change in Washington DC. And while putting republicans back in charge is not drastic change, it is all that we can do for now; there are no other options. We will just have to "hope" that the republicans have seen the light, but don't hold your breath on it. Ejecting Patty Murray, one of the most liberal Senators in the Senate, will go a long way towards ridding us of those who would control our lives from cradle to grave. She may mean well, but that is not what matters, what matters are the results. And what have the results been? The results have been an ever expanding government that controls more of our lives and more of the economy every year. They believe that only ...

This was the McLaughlin Group show after the 1994 Midterm Election, in which the Newt Gingrich-led GOP took control of the US House for the first time in 40 years, and the GOP gained 8 seats to win the majority in the US Senate that it lost in 1986. One of the Democrats elected in 1986, Richard Shelby of Alabama, switched to the GOP the day after the 1994 election. Given today's political climate, and the growing consensus that the GOP will do very well in 2010, and may even take the House, it is interesting to draw some contrasts and comparisons between now and 1994. For instance, while in 1994 it was generally thought that the GOP's victory in the Senate was a better bet than the GOP winning the House, the reverse appears to be true today. The House was a bit of a surprise in 1994. The Senate would be, I think, in 2010. A comparison can be drawn from old line liberal Jack Germond's view that the public that put the GOP in power in 1994 were not interested in an activist GOP Congress, but simply wanted the government to stop spending money and get out of the public's lives. You see that sentiment in a big way as the 2010 elections approach. I noticed that a major element of the GOP platform in 1994 was the decentralization of power away from the Federal Government and the delegation of those powers, and presumably federal tax money as well, to the states. An approach and plan like this is intuitive and would, in my opinion, be popular with today's electorate, especially ...

The California primary elections yielding historic results. The state's Republican Party has nominated two women to face the Democratic candidates for both the governorship and the US Senate seat. Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina will challenge Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer. While Meg Whitman, former eBay chief executive, will face former two-term Governor Jerry Brown. Ms. Whitman, a billionaire, spent a whopping $110 million dollars on her campaign. California voters also approved a new political measure, two rounds of voting, which will replace the current primary election process in state and Congressional elections. The new method will allow all candidates to run in the first round. Then the top two, regardless of their political party, will face off in the general election. The goal is to produce more moderate candidates.

John McCain hit the floor of the senate this morning fighting hard for a bi-partisan process in the health-care debate. McCain argues that the Scott Brown victory sends a statement to the white house that the American public wants to move more cautiously on health care reform and to be more bipartisan in the process.
God Bless Obama beck scott bown tea party DC michelle bachmann sarah palin joe the plumber geraldine ferraro christie new jersey 2012 2010 2008 A year to the day after his inauguration, Barack Obama and his Democratic allies are suddenly scrambling to save his signature health care overhaul and somehow rediscover their political magic after an epic loss in the Massachusetts Senate race. Republican Scott Brown rode a wave of voter anger to beat Democrat Martha Coakley. The loss was a stunning embarrassment for the White House. It also signaled big political problems for the president's party this fall when House, Senate and gubernatorial candidates are on the ballot nationwide. Brown's victory was so sweeping, he even won in the Cape Cod community where Sen. Edward Kennedy, the longtime liberal icon, died of brain cancer last August. "While the honor is mine, this Senate seat belongs to no one person, no one political party," Brown told his supporters Tuesday night. "This is the people's seat," he added to chants of "People's seat!" Brown will become the 41st Republican in the 100-member Senate, which could allow the GOP to block the health care bill. Democrats needed Coakley to win for a 60th vote to thwart Republican filibusters. Brown became the first Republican elected to the US Senate from supposedly true-blue Democratic Massachusetts since 1972. "I have no interest in sugarcoating what happened in Massachusetts," said Sen. Robert Menendez, the head of the Senate ...

Republican Scott Brown won a major upset victory in Tuesday's special election for the US Senate seat formerly held by liberal Democrat Ted Kennedy. With 89 percent of the results counted, Brown had 52 percent of the vote to 47 percent for Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley, the Democratic candidate, according to the the National Election Pool, a consortium of media organizations including CNN. Independent candidate Joseph Kennedy, a libertarian who is not related to the Kennedy political family of Massachusetts, had 1 percent. Brown's victory made real the once unthinkable prospect of a Republican filling the seat held by Kennedy, known as the liberal lion, for almost 47 years until his death from brain cancer in August. Voters across Massachusetts braved winter cold and snow for an election with high stakes -- the domestic agenda of President Obama, including his priority of health care reform. Brown's victory strips Democrats of the 60-seat Senate supermajority needed to overcome GOP filibusters against future Senate action on a broad range of White House priorities. Senate Democrats needed all 60 votes in their caucus to pass the health care bill, and the loss of one seat imperils generating that support again for a compromise measure worked out with the House. In a subdued concession speech, Coakley said she expected a tough assessment of her loss and lots of "Wednesday-morning quarterbacking" after losing a seat held by Democrats for more than 50 years ...

Brown vs Coakley Brown won the MASS Special election to fill Ted Kennedys US SENATE seat.
budurl.com - This video right belongs to foxnews! MAD HOT NEWS! Massachusetts voters headed to the polls on Tuesday in a cliffhanger election for a new US senator that could derail Democrats' dominance in Washington and scuttle their top priority of sweeping healthcare reform. What looked likely to be a Democratic shoo-in to replace late party icon Edward Kennedy has turned into a too-close-to-call race with a last-minute rally by a Republican, state Senator Scott Brown. Latest opinion polls suggest he could defeat state Attorney General Martha Coakley, which would be a huge upset in this traditionally liberal New England state, and take away the Democrats' supermajority in Congress. Voting started at 7 am EST (12 am British time) and polls will stay open until 8 pm EST (1 am on Wednesday). Results could take a few hours to emerge after polls close. Turnout could be a major factor in the unusual, off-season election. Given intense interest, turnout could approach that of a regular state election, Secretary of State William Galvin said on Sunday. High turnout could benefit the more energized Brown campaign, although registered Democrats in Massachusetts hold a sizable numerical advantage. Tuesday dawned in the Boston area with intermittent snow showers and freezing drizzle. Snow and rain are expected across the state, which could keep some voters at home. Kennedy, who held the seat for almost 47 years, died in August of brain cancer. Democrat Paul Kirk was appointed by the state's governor in September to occupy Kennedy's seat and will remain in the Senate until a winner is sworn in.
Scott Brown, running for Senate in Massachusetts, lays the smack down.. "With all due respect, it's not the Kennedy's seat, it's not the Democrats' seat, it's the people's seat." On Tuesday, Jan 19, a special election will be held in the state of Mass to choose a new US Sen to replace Ted Kennedy. The results of this election could well decide our nation's future. Until now, Democrats have had filibuster-proof majorities in both the House and Senate, thus allowing them to ram through their socialist agenda, in spite of what the American people want. But the election of Brown in Mass could give Rep the critical 41st vote needed to stop the Dem supermajority in the Senate. Brown opposes giving terrorists constitutional rights and cap-and-trade legislation. Brown's election would not only derail the terrible health 'reform' bill, but much of the rest of Obama's agenda. Up until this week, Brown's election was not even considered to be a remote possibility. He is also staunchly against Obamacare ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩۩๑ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬● ~ЯΞ√ΩLUT↑☼N~ www.youtube.com www.infowars.com www.prisonplanet.tv
