I got this little desktop PC for only $5 but it was missing most of the components. With the addition of some junk box parts, I have assembled it into a tiny but competent Windows XP workstation. The CPU is a VIA C3 based on the Samuel 2 core (a descendant of the IDT WinChip). The PC Chips motherboard calls it "1 Giga Pro", but it is actually only 667 MHz. It has a full assortment of legacy and USB 1.1 ports, but the lack of any expansion slots limits its upgrade potential.
Steve Jobs is saying that 7 inch Android Tablets can't be popular. I think they can. This Archos 70 Internet Tablet fits in most Jacket Pockets and thus is the largest screen size that can be carried around without using a bag. Also, this one is half the price/size/weight of the iPad, it comes with HDMI output, full video/audio codecs support, USB host and a built-in Webcam for video-chat all which iPad lacks. This tablet at 300gr and 201x114x10mm may be the lightest and most compact 7" Android on ARM Cortex A8 45nm tablet yet, but I think with optimizations and designs that use less bezel, the weight and size could further be optimized to make this kind of screen size form factor even more jacket pocketable. Basically, Android tablets will provide choice for consumers, from small pocketable ones to larger ones that may mostly stay at home. This video was filmed at 4mbit/s 720p mode using the Archos 43 Internet Tablet's HD camcorder on firmware 1.0.70. It can record in 8mbit/s which might look a bit better than this. I have a theory, I need Archos to confirm. I think the HD cam and the webcam on 32, 43 and 70 are currently with the Android 2.1 "pre-release" OS version encoded and decoded in software not by hardware acceleration. My gues camera quality will improve when the Android 2.2 firmware is ready and should include hardware acceleration for the cameras, including better compression quality, better framerate and better audio sync.

A cheap & effective way to transform your favorite pair of audiophile grade headphones into a full blown headset for voice communication. Benifits include having a much larger selection of headphones than headsets. A general rule of thumb is headphones have higher sound quality and also cost less within the same range of quality. Being modular you can remove the microphone when not needed and since just velcro was used the headphones can be restored 100% to there original form. Donor headset was a Altec Lansing AHS433usb - there is a cheaper version of the same product without the usb soundcard but I think the $2.00 more easily is worth it to have that usb option, and you can use that usb adapter with other microphones and headphones for another project if needed.

This is the iPazzPort bluetooth keyboard and trackpad. The name sounds funny where I can visualize a picture of a fat cat sitting on the couch with the caption "I can haz remote controlz?" But jokes about the name aside, this seems like a very viable product. At $42 including shipping (bit.ly it's the lowest price that I know of for a mini bluetooth keyboard/trackpad. Lenovo has something for $60 and Logitech has something for $150. The keyboard has a backlight for darker rooms and the keys offer some good tactile feedback while the trackpad and scrollbar work smoothly and accurately. It's also a thin device with average build quality that feels pretty good in the hands overall. BlueTooth paring was simple and you didn't need any special drivers. Just push the button at the bottom and scan for it in the Windows BlueTooth user interface, then key in the pairing key and hit enter on the keyboard. The wireless range works well beyond 30 feet so it should work in any size living room. The bottom part of this chassis feels slightly loose and the on/off button doesn't glide on and off easily, but I've just left it in the permanent on position since the device goes to sleep on its own to conserve battery life. It has a lithium ion battery that recharges via the USB port, but I don't know how long the charge lasts when I don't bother turning the thing off. I'll post an update on battery life days or weeks later when I need to recharge this thing. Overall, this is a good form ...

This video will show you how to remove some infections from your PC using AVG Rescue CD: www.avg.com The AVG Rescue CD is a free-to-use product that anyone can download. This also covers any new program versions and virus database updates. If you have any other paid AVG license, you are also entitled to receive our full technical support. The AVG Rescue CD is essentially a portable version of AVG Anti-Virus supplied through Linux distribution. It can be used in the form of a bootable CD or bootable USB flash drive to recover your computer when the system cannot be loaded normally, such as after an extensive or deep-rooted virus infection. In short, the AVG Rescue CD enables you to fully remove infections from an otherwise inoperable PC and render the system bootable again. AVG Rescue CD tool can be very usefull in case it is not possible to remove some infection standard ways (eg AVG or any other anti-virus software is not installed on target PC and for some reason it is not possible to install it). You can download AVG Rescue CD from here: www.avg.com Looking for free antivirus download? Click here: www.avg.com
I take a look at the SP-P410M in a rather bold and somewhat rushed video using two 720p bridge cameras to provide footage. For those interested, I used the Samsung WB5000 and the Panasonic DMC-FZ38 (my usual camera) to take this footage. The Samsung SP-P410M Projector is an excellent piece of kit, the only flaw is its lack of an audio output meaning that the excellent built-in media player is combined entirely to using the slightly tinny stereo speakers within the projector itself. This is great for photo slideshows, and simple family entertainment, and I've even watched a few movies with it, but is somewhat of a let down if you want to take this projector, and a USB memory stick to a friends house for a bit of movie watching. The 800*600 resolution manages to produce a stunning picture and is very watchable, you just can't argue with the size, convenience and excellence of the SP-P410M until someone puts 720p HD into the same form factor.
Samsung has rolled out a couple more camcorders in the form of the HMX-U20 and HMX-U15, where both models are able to deliver full HD video recording alongside an integrated USB port and HDMI connectivity support. The HMX-U20 is equipped with a 3x optical zoom as well as the ability to capture still images in 10-megapixel glory, while the HMX-U15 lacks the optical zoom, albeit captures better stills thanks to its 14-megapixel still camera sensor. I was favorably impressed with the Polycom CX200 (aka Catalina). It's probably going to be outdated by the CX300 which is basically a full phone form factor (keypad, lcd, etc) I paid $60 for a new CX200 on ebay but most commonly they are about $125.00. -Very solid feel, sits firmly on your desk -Great Wide Band audio and speaker phone -Mike picks up great -No drivers required -6ft USB cable Cons -If you don't have OCS Enterprise Voice turned on, picking up the handset does NOT answer Communicator call or hangup. (you need to click on Communcator to answer) -On same token the presence LED/Logo on the Cx200 doesn't work either To read more about this issue: blogs.technet.com I'm very eager to see the new CX300. The Creative ZEN Mosaic EZ300 is a reasonably priced 4GB MP3 player with a basic feature set. It is out-classed by players costing only a small amount more, and even cheaper players have better interfaces and aesthetics. With a similar form factor to the iRiver T6 MP3 player, the Creative ZEN Mosaic EZ300 is easy to hold. The buttons — laid out in a matte and glossy checkerboard pattern, giving the player its name — are large enough to press easily, but their layout isnt particularly intuitive. For example, instead of holding the centre button to power the player on — in the absence of a dedicated power button, this seemed logical — we were confronted with a black screen. The play/pause button takes care of power functions but it is located on the bottom-right corner of the checkerboard, which is a puzzling choice. The matte black plastic body is sturdy enough to resist knocks and scratches, but the player feels cheap and hollow. Similarly, the 1.8in, 128x160 pixel screen is acceptably bright for outdoor use but has a terrible viewing angle and a glossy fascia which catches reflections easily. A mini-USB connector joins the 3.5mm headphone jack on the players lower edge below the controls. Hidden on the players rear is the integrated mono speaker; we liked the speakers smooth sound, but it does not have a very high maximum volume. The Creative ZEN Mosaic EZ300 is bundled with a pair of Creative-branded ear-buds. We liked the Creative EP-830 headphones that came with the ...

Oh KIRF, how we love you :) Chris Zeigler reminded me today of the Nukia O1/Q1, a fake Nokia 7705 (Twist) which I acquired several months ago... I'll let my unboxing pictures and video do the talking - enjoy the quirky goodness (and some specs) after the break! Pros: - Nice form factor - Good build quality - Quad-band GSM (instead of CDMA) - Dual SIM (unlocked) - QVGA touchscreen - QWERTY keyboard - Accelerometer - Bluetooth - FM radio - Micro-SD support (2 GB card included) - Micro USB support (mass storage) - Lots of accessories (2 batteries included) - Super cheap Cons: - Crappy VGA camera (much worse than the Nokia 7705 camera) - GPRS data only - Proprietary micro-USB audio connector - No Java support - Poor software (but still better than the Nokia 7705 software) For more information, visit tnkgrl.wordpress.com
using SAMEDISK's special SPI 86 87 command to output check point (debug message), this is a good solution for that system lacking of output method (such as new platforms in lagecy free ), or hardware design fail, others are platform in a very small form factor, without exta reserve space for debug interface. Another advantage is SPI flash will be boot in the early stage, therefore it is possible to debug in SEC stage, as USB debug cable will not be able to debug if USB host has not yet being initialed.

tinyurl.com The MacBook Air is a Macintosh notebook computer designed by Apple. It is positioned as the ultraportable in Apple's MacBook Family and was introduced at the Macworld Conference & Expo on January 15, 2008. It has been revised twice since the original release. When the MacBook Air was introduced, Apple described it as the "world's thinnest notebook". After the release of the MacBook Air, Dell challenged that claim with the release of the Dell Adamo. Several features were sacrificed to reduce the computer's size and weight. It is Apple's first notebook since the PowerBook 2400c without a built-in removable media drive.[2] It also omits a FireWire port, ethernet port, line-in, media card slots and a Kensington Security Slot. The battery is internal and not user removable, and the RAM is soldered onto the motherboard. A single speaker is included for mono sound. A flip-down hatch on the right side reveals the ports on the MacBook Air: a single USB port, a Mini DisplayPort, and a stereo earphone jack. The left side of the machine has a MagSafe adapter for power, and there is a webcam above the 13.3" screen. To regain the features of an optical drive, users can either use a separately-available external USB SuperDrive, or the bundled Remote Disc software to access the optical drive of another computer.[3] Using an ethernet cable requires a separately available USB-to-ethernet adapter. The MacBook Air was the first subcompact laptop offered by Apple since the full ...
Please note that this is not a tutorial. I may edit my description from time to time with links (at the bottom) to help solve some peoples' dilemnas or troubles or questions, but this is NOT a tutorial. I will not teach you how to softmod your Wii, run games from a USB drive, or anything. That's up to you to learn. I make these kind of videos out of pure irritation and spitefulness of wanting to show people how ignorant or wrong or misinformed they are. Every now and then I'll take a request, but not usually. Please stop asking me to test something for you or whatnot. Part 1: www.youtube.com Part 2: www.youtube.com This is pretty much for proof that USB Loader games do retain full network functionality. I run my games off of a Western Digital 250 Gig external USB harddrive (that Wal-Mart is selling on sale for $60). Here, in this video, I'm showing that I'm using a v4.1U Wii, and that there is no disc in the Wii, just for exagerated proof of my point. I then load up the USB Loader GX. However, I forgot to load the disc covers and box images, so that's what I do before I load the game. After I do that, I show a brief intro of the disc images and the box images. However, onto the main point. Mario Kart Wii online. I ended up handing the Wiimote to my friend, because if you have sound, you can hear my thoughts and feelings on Mario Kart in general. Anyways, he does a full single race on Mario Kart Wii, then I disconnect it. This video is just to show that USB Loader games ...

KCAC, MAKO, and JCT at KCAC's Reynolds Road Sunday, November 9, 2008. Sorry about the quality of this series of videos. As some know, my camera's Firewire port was damaged so I had to get creative as to how to get this footage transferred to my PC. In the end I had to use an older ATi USB TV Tuner that had composite inputs. This worked but it was rough as this natively runs at 480pi, where as my camera is running in 720pi. To top those issues, this also presented issues with the scaling of the video as it was difficult to keep it even looking 16:9 throughout the mirade of programs I had to push it through to convert it to a usable format. Anyways, here it is finally in it's full form after two months wait. Hope you enjoy.

TheBoom earhook headset is competition for the Sennheiser Headset. It is highly accurate and noise canceling like the Sennheiser Headset. It also features an earphone and a push to Mute switch. Works great with the Andrea USB-SA full duplex sound pod. Use theBoom microphone with your computer for VoIP, Speech recognition or gaming. It also includes a 2.5 mm connector for use with your mobile phone or any landline that accepts this connector. the boom headset. The correct position for this microphone is very close to the corner of the mouth, 1/2" or less. We recommend creating a new enrollment if you use this with speech recognition software. The Boom. It may take one or two tries to get the flexible earhook to form to the back of your ear.
