www.uscis.gov One of the requirements for US citizenship through naturalization is to take the naturalization test to demonstrate that you are able to read, write, and speak basic English and that you have a basic knowledge of US history and government (also known as "civics"). Once you have completed and submitted your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, and you have had your fingerprints taken at a USCIS facility, you will receive an appointment for an interview. At your naturalization interview, you will be required to answer questions about your application and background. You will also take an English and civics test unless you qualify for an exemption or waiver. English & Civics During your interview, a USCIS officer will test your ability to read, write, and speak English and your knowledge of civics. You must read one sentence out of three sentences correctly in English, and you must write one sentence out of three sentences correctly in English. Your ability to speak English is determined during your interview on your naturalization application. Finally, you must answer 6 out of 10 civics questions correctly to achieve a passing score. You will be given two opportunities to take the English and civics tests and to answer all questions relating to your naturalization application in English. If you fail any of the tests at your initial interview, you will be retested on the portion of the test that you failed (English or civics) between 60 and 90 days from ...

You can suddoprt me by going to this web site: funds.gofundme.com Support my effort to file for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) With United States Customs Immigration Services (USCIS). Hi I am Cheryes Jerome. I have been trying to file for the TPS program with USCIS due to the Recent Earthquake that took place on January 12th, 2010 in my home country Haiti. Because of the devastating earthquake, on January 15th, 2010 Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has announced the designation of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haitian nationals who were in the United States as of January 12, 2010. Ref: www.dhs.gov I am a Haitian Citizen. It is a very difficult situation for me to come up with the money at the moment especially not being able to qualify for certain employments because I do not have a SSN and a work permit. The money that I now make doing odds job is sufficient only to pay for the day to day expenses and monthly utility expenses that I occur for my survival. By supporting my efforts to file for TPS, you will be helping a human being get the necessary paper work in hands, so I may apply for a better job, get a better education - Education represents a powerful tool for generating jobs, improving incomes, and expanding the opportunities available to someone. As a result, I will become a self-sufficient person, to better myself, my family. Think of what your support can accomplish. You will be helping someone get on their feet, so that person does not have ...
Keep your comments relevant to the topic of Illegal Immigration and free from vulgar language. Cite the facts and back them up with the source of information. This was a Pro Illegal Immigration demonstration type walk that began at the Fruitvale Bart Station and ended at City Hall Oakland, CA., about a 2-3 mile walk. The group was approx 1/2 mile in length. It was filmed in the vicinity of E14th and Second Ave. At 2:16 you can see an American Flag being dragged on the ground. Poor flag. If you want to become a legal citizen of this country there is a process for it and here is the link: www.uscis.gov American Law is based on what is reasonable. You cannot expect the United States to allow illegal immigrants to enter or remain in this country after they have knowingly and willfully broken the law. Illegally entering the United States is either a Felony or Misdemeanor. These are serious criminal charges which can result in Deportation, Jail and Fines. The United States is a country of laws, designed to protect the people of the Country. Immigrants who have gone through the legal process to enter this Country are the ones that will be considered first.
