DRDO DAKSH AT DEFENCE EXPO 2010 NEW DELHI INDIA , Daksh is an electrically powered and remotely controlled robot used for locating, handling and destroying hazardous objects safely. [1]Daksh speaks for the ingenuity of the R&DE(E). It is a battery-operated robot on wheels and its primary role is to recover improvised explosive devices (IEDs). It locates IEDs with an X-ray machine, picks them up with a gripper-arm and defuses them with a jet of water. It has a shotgun, which can break open locked doors, and it can scan cars for explosives. Daksh can also climb staircases, negotiate steep slopes, navigate narrow corridors and tow vehicles. Alok Mukherjee, a scientist, said: With a master control station (MCS), it can be remotely controlled over a range of 500 m in line of sight or within buildings. Ninety per cent of the robots components are indigenous. The Army has placed orders for 20 Dakshs.[2]

The Honda City is a subcompact car manufactured by the Japanese manufacturer Honda since 1981 for the Asian market. Since 2002, the City is also known as the Honda Fit Aria. It is a subcompact sedan that uses Honda's Global Small Car platform, which is also used by the Fit/Jazz (a five-door hatchback), the Airwave (a wagon version of the Fit Aria/City), the Mobilio, and the Mobilio Spike. One of the characteristics shared by the Fit/Jazz, City/Fit Aria, and Airwave, is the location of the fuel tank. Rather than placing it under the rear seats, it is located under the front seats, thereby freeing up valuable room in the back. The new Honda City was unveiled in Bangkok, Thailand at Siam Paragon on the 10th of September 2008 followed by New Delhi, India on 25 September 2008. and January 2009 in Pakistan and Indonesia. Honda also announced that the City will be offered in selected European countries with a 1.4 liter i-VTEC engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed i-SHIFT automated manual transmission. Guangzhou Honda will be developing a Honda Civic-sized sedan based on the Honda City chassis for the Chinese market. It will have a new name and a new shape but will use the City's underpinings and a 1.8 liter engine. This new car will compete against Dongfeng Honda's Civic and FAW Toyota's Corolla. The Thai market Honda City comes in three variants - S model, V Model and SV model. The Indonesian market was offered with two trims, the lower-spec S and the higher-spec ...

'In Between Days' is a post-modern sonic+visual interpretation of Delhi by diF(ish S + Konrad Bayer) [sound reasons records] The video's composition style has a Dadaist approach to it. Here a split screen reflective effect is used to bring outother hidden spaces and activities of the city which are basically over looked in plain video and perception. Hence this Video generates a life of it's own while bringing these objects that fill the city spaces into new light. For the 'sound design' unconventional material like car horns and construction sounds to compose the tracks, as these tracks in some ways represent the 'urban utopia/Distopia of materialism hitting a brick wall. On the track 'Blue Hour' car horns which are the most common sound/noise in urban Delhi's Soundscape are carefully manipulated to create a beautiful trumpet like sound which is juxtaposed with a piano and drums with glitchy highs which are always going in and out of equilibrium of the Rhythm. This in turn reflects upon a personal unbalanced experience of excessive cars and traffic jams in Delhi.
