-Don't score, you lose. (Give the man a raise) -When you've been around 40 years, you will lose to a Div. 2 program. -When you get positive yardage, good things happen. (Nostradamus) -Minus yardage plays are bad. (Indeed) -44% of our run plays suck. (But we still have our 10 wins & bowl games streaks) -We have to do a better job. (0-2 will do that to you) -VT is seeing a lot of different looks...or are they? (No one apparently knows) -JMU's one big play made the difference. (except they owned us for 3 qtrs.) -JMU is good. -Weather was a factor for us, but not JMU. (We sound like Miami) -JMU is good. -We block, we win. -We were close to breaking a punt. (We weren't even close) -We had good effort. (Except for all the missed tackles) -JMU is a good team.

The 2010 edition of Hokie football heads into the season with lofty goals both within the ACC and Nationally. Tech is strong on both sides of the ball. QB Tyrod Taylor and a pair of great running backs, Ryan Williams and Darren Evans, highlight the offense. Defensive Coordinator Bud Foster has a lot of very talented player and he has a knack for getting them all to gel as a unit. This has the makings of a special year for Hokie football fans.
