The Wall came into Johnson City on June 3rd 2009, I was so amazed at the turnout of people that came to see this wall. Spent my entire weekend at the wall , over 15000 people and over 10000 dollars was raised!!! Great Going Guy's!!! Hope to one day see the Wall in DC!!! The Memorial Day 2009 Ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial State Park in Angel Fire, NM was organized in part by the Zia Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America. National Vice President Al Kovach, Jr. spoke on behalf of PVA. This is amateur video but PVA message comes through loud and clear.
Several community members and area veterans turned out for the dedication of a Vietnam War veterans memorial built by Boy Scout Josh Wissmann, Troop 439, to earn his Eagle Scout rank. The memorial stands in Krog Park in Washington, Mo. Wissmann completed the project with the help of other Scouts and raised funds from area individuals. A local Vietnam War veteran spoke at the dedication ceremony.
