Five years ago the Ghostbusters roasted a 30 story marshmallow and in the process destroyed most of downtown Manhattan. Surprisingly, people noticed. While many applauded, the Mayor and his staff were less amused. Naturally, the Ghostbusters presented a huge bill for their services to the city. The city presented an even bigger bill to the Ghostbusters. The Ghostbusters decleared bankruptcy. The city declared bankruptcy again. The city stayed in business. The Ghostbusters didn't. What spook and ghouls couldn't accomplish, several persistent collection agencies did. Venkman attended the correspondence school of shock broadcasting and took his ascerbic wit to the airwaves. Belittling weirdoes and wackos, he found his ratings up and his friendships down. Stantz and Zeddemore made a modest living breakdancing for yuppie larvae and running and occult bookstore. Egon retired to acedemia, tormenting unsuspecting human guinea pigs in the name of science. The former Ghostbusters were will integrated into mainstream society. Unknown to the ex-Ghostbusters, a river of slime is growing under the streets of New York. It feeds on the bitterness, cynicism and bad tips of the citizens in the Big Apple. Coursing through the old pneumatic railway shafts and tunnels, it worms its way to the Museum of Art. In the restoration wing of the museum a new occupant has moved in. Title is the name of the villain from Ghostbusters 2. This vid is also about 875mb compressed (holy shit!). Chars used prior: God Ken, Shin Akuma (PotS), Hulk (OWA), Zero (Aznperson569M), Gambit (LA). Now. Sludge's Abyss was a char I fought in #22, one of the badly (and the most badly) planned New Years finales of 2008. I'm going to break this down form by form. 1. Pretty easy. Just wail on him. Damage is pretty poor (waist beam super can do up to 500), and you know how chars with hyper armor have multi-hitting specials as a weakness? Doesn't apply here. His spear rain super goes more or less the whole area in front of him too. It only gets worse from here. 2. This is the worst form. His beams and fire traverse the screen, his beam super hits the full screen, and his AI spams bubbles. Get caught, and more or less he gets a free shot. Each shot does about 125 as well. You can't really evade the bubbles, and all you can do is break them. This form is really the reason I hate this conversion as much as I do. 3. This one isn't as bad. It's a gigantic target, but he never stays in one place, and warps a lot. His fragment attacks are easy to avoid, and do no chip damage, but his giant leap attack is harder to avoid than it looks, and his slam is nearly fullscreen. At least it's not as bad as the previous form. On top of all this, he has infinite supers. Yeah, all of his supers are level 0s. Also, defeating a form knocks you up for some reason. There's no explination for this ...

I just got Ghostbusters for PC last night thanks to felinoid, and i noticed this funny painting of Vigo the Carpathian from the second movie. It looks like they realize what a goofy character he really was. He kind of reminds me of Lucan D'lere from EverQuest II, who is the evil overlord of freeport. Except with a bigger head. :P I do not own rights to ghostbusters, i am only supplying a clip of something within the game i thought was funny. If this is DMCAd i will counter claim under fair use.
