Known in Japan as Hebereke, this action/adventure game often called Metroid-lite was never released in the United States until now. The European NES release began the legend that made this one of the most sought after NES games. Now North American players will finally be able to experience the game that 1UP.com's resident Retronaut called "one of my favorite NES games." Ufouria was released for the Wii Virtual Console on August 23, 2010 for 600 Wii points.

This is likely the world record for fastest completion of The Lost Levels. This was completed using the Wii-Virtual Console and recorded using a DVD recorder. I use a variety of tricks/glitches to obtain 8 minutes and 13 seconds. From searching online, it's the fastest run of it's kind :) It has mistakes and it's definitely beatable, but it does not have too many mistakes. This video shows me completing Adventure Island Level 8-2 without dying. The only trick here is memorizing the placement and timing of the jumping fish. You will lose many lives in utter frustration as you attempt to do this. These were recorded while playing on the Wii Virtual Console so there's no tricks or cheating!
