At the 2009 Indy 500, Vitor Meira in the 14 car for ABC Supply/AJ Foyt team had a good sized ethanol spill and the fire threatened to engulf the entire vehicle and driver. The Delphi Safety Team and pit crew acted quickly, spraying Cold Fire from extinguishers and buckets on the flames, extinguishing the whole thing in about five seconds. The driver never even bothered getting out of the car, and was back in the race like nothing ever happened! Amazing!
