The day was Sat. April 10th. We started off in Maryville and walked to Vonore, TN. We got a late start due to a trip to the laundromat (had to wash some socks and undies, lol). This video was shot late in the day when the spirit begins to be attacked by fatigue and monotony. I was panicking because we had no campsite picked out and the sun was soon to set. Looking back this was a real day of breakthrough, for I learned the meaning behind the Bible saying that we walk by faith and not by sight. I prayed that Jesus direct me and Frank to a safe campsite, and so I kept walking 2 hrs. after sundown. I was so encouraged by learning this spiritual lesson. We slept behind a bank or something, without even getting the tent out. We just unrolled the sleeping pad and covered up with the sleeping bag! This is another day I will never forget. Enjoy my nervous ramblings.
The day was Sunday April 11, 2010. After sleeping behind the bank by the air conditioners (see pics on jarrodnfrank.com), we woke up refreshed and was greeted by the greatest light in the world; sunlight! We slept great all considered so we were gonna try to get as far down the road as possible. I was bummed out that we never found a church to camp at and attend this day since it was Sunday, but other than that me and Frank felt great. The video features me walking over the Loudon Lake bridge, which is funny because Frank freaks out on the bridges! The video is n the morning and kinda hard to see cause of the light but enjoy it anyway if ya can. We walked from Vonore, Tn to Madisonville, TN and then got a cheap motel room to rest for Monday April 12th. God is good all the time

This is a favorite area to visit for two of our members. They wanted all of us to see these sites, as they have often felt the presence of someone or something when visiting. They have heard unexplainable sounds. During our trip we had a few experiences that make me believe this area is sacred, spiritual and very mystical. Recognized "capitals" of the Cherokee Nation, where Cherokees from all over gathered for important national councils and religious events. The great warrior Chief Oconostota's remains were excavted here in the 1970's. Many pay their respects by visiting and leaving sacred offerings at the memorial site.
