A brief historic "THEN AND NOW" look at the old Gold Mining town of Murray Idaho. Founded in 1884 Murray once had a population in the thousands. Today, less than 30. This is mostly a re-edit of the end of Part 6 of my "SILVER VALLEY GOLD RUSH" as I am posting this video on a different web site as well as YouTube. Added some new narration and more pic's.
Part 3 of Burke ID ALMOST GHOST. This is a tour of Canyon Creek the 7 mile canyon Between Wallace Idaho and Burke. I will re do this in the summer. The video is not great cause there was 3 different camera used over a 4 year period. Some look real grainy and shakey. Also they are taken during different seasons so they don't fit together. This summer I will redo the video so the production value will be better. SORRY ABOUT THE MUSIC!! Hey, copy right free is expensive so I use what I got.
Part 2 of my THEN AND NOW Historical tribute to Burke Idaho. Still having some sound troubles but this one is better than the first. Burke is a old SILVER Mining Town from 1884 and use to have a population of over 1000 but less than 17 live in the area now. Thanks to the EPA and their desire to destroy everything at a cost of Billions, very little is left.
I can not figure out why the quality is always so bad with Adobe Premiere! My video is old 8mm and perhaps my capture device is not suited for the older stuff. The video also freezes. Oh well. This is Part 1 of a "THEN AND NOW" video concerning Burke Idaho. 1 time there were over a 1050 people. Today about 17. Hope you can deal with the 'less than perfect' playback.
Some highlights of the Lind Wa Combine Demolition Derby. Lind is a full weekend of car,truck,wheat truck racing along wit the car and combine derby. Always held on the second weekend of june! The page posse will have three cars for the derby and a truck for the races. GOOD TIMES!!!! This last year the cmt tv show all jacked up filmed the combine derby with the host driving in it. and yes he got all jacked up!

The hunters are looking for Swans but once they shake their tail feathers the hunters no longer want to shoot the swans, one even falls in love with the black swan. This is part of the Slippery Gulch celebration for Wallace's 125 year anniversary. This hysterical event raised money for numerous non-profit groups in the area.
