After a sub-par first half the Scott County Cardinals decided to flex their muscle, via the hops of junior Gelawn Guyn, on the first play of the third quarter of this early January contest.
Senior leader Richie Phares pulled down a rebound and literally made a "bee line" to the bucket on the other end for the Scott County Cardinals in a regular season home game.

Lexington Catholic senior Vee Sanford had a great senior campaign - enjoy this pair of finishes from the regular season finale versus Wayne County.
Ballard didn't get past J-Town in the Seventh Region Semis, but junior Keisten Jones started and finished a nice play in the first quarter.

Its the 11th Region Title Game and it all comes down to this . . . a sophomore at the free throw line and a chance to put his team ahead with very little time to play. BTW - The Sophomore is Taylor Martin and he put Lexington Catholic over Scott County for an 11th Region championship and a berth in the Sweet 16.
A freshman, yes a freshman at Lexington Catholic (He's six feet tall by the way) put down a tremendous follow of senior Vee Sanford's miss. The Knights went on to win this 11th region title game.
Melvyn Little got a transition opportunity after poor shot selection on the other end, but Eastern got the last laugh as it would be the Eagles advancing to a 7th Region title game.
Great buzzer beating, game winning shot by Central High School junior Tim Patterson to lead the YellowJackets to a 6th region title game and then to the Sweet 16.
A little pumpfake and drive that ended up with Peurach dunking on UK committ Euton in a big 11th Region clash on WazooSports. Euton would have the last laugh as he hit a key three in the Scott County comeback after the dunk put Lexington Catholic up by 4.
