Adeles debut rides along on the Amy Winehouse white horse of vocal intonations, joining a flock of female singer songwriters gliding around the upper echelons of the chart. Her sound is unexpectedly mature for someone of her age - her voice is sultry and has a gravely texture to it whilst the lyrics are thoughtful and heartfelt. Originally a Bob Dylan tune, but my real love for the song came from Miss Adele Adkins. They're both amazing musicians. check 'em. We had about 9 less microphones than we needed for a recording like this so the sound goes a little flat in the video.
