Apple's recent patent details a way of "pairing a sensor and an authorized garment", such as "running shoes, shirts or slacks". Companies could authorize their garments by burying an RFID chip inside it. When it comes to CSS, there are lots of resources and supposed "expert tips" on the web. These are from unproven, self-proclaimed "gurus" who have no street cred in the design world. While they may have valid points, how is one to know whether a CSS tip is a valid resource or just an untested hack?Full Digg post: http://digg.com/design/10_Principles_of_the_CSS_Masters

My HO scale Empire Builder train makes the rounds on the Central Iowa Railroad Club layout, still under construction as of August 15, 2008. Some areas have permanent scenery, some have temporary scenery for the fair, and others have no scenery at all. This train represents approximately how the Empire Builder might of looked around 1974, inspired by research and some Pentrex videos I've watched here and there. The locomotives are Stewart F7s (still in need of some added details...) and the cars are by Walthers, except for the two baggage cars, which are by Athearn. The first is equipped with a track cleaning pad that can be seen in this video. The second is my oldest surviving piece of Amtrak equipment, one I got at Woodcraft Hobby Store on Lake Street in Minneapolis, MN. That was 1985, and I was eight years old at the time... All of the cars have received significant mechanical upgrades for reliable operation, and the locomotives are DCC equipped (no sound) and fitted with custom LED headlight arrangements where appropriate.
This video shows the interior of the old block home featured on www.historicwarsaw.com and answers questions for many people that wanted to see the layout and design.

Parada das luzes na Tokyo Disney. Galera da Sony Hamamatsu, filmado pela Derika. The Main Street Electrical Parade was a regularly-scheduled parade, created by Bob Jani, famous for its long run at Disneyland at the Disneyland Resort most summers between 1972-1974, 1977-1982, and 1985-1996. It features floats and live performers covered in thousands of electronically-controlled lights and a synchronized soundtrack triggered by radio control along key areas of the parade route. The parade was also spun-off many other versions that ran or continue to run at Disney parks around the world. Origin The predecessor to the Main Street Electrical Parade is the Electrical Water Pageant, a show made up of seven 25-foot (7.6 m) tall screens with electrical lights placed on them. The screens are placed on a string of seven barges that travel around the Seven Seas Lagoon in front of the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort, beginning at 9 p.m. at Disney's Polynesian Resort or immediately after the fireworks if they are scheduled for 9 p.m. The Electrical Water Pageant still shows today. The Electrical Water Pageant has been showing since October 26, 1971, just weeks after the Walt Disney World Resort opened. The Main Street Electrical Parade had counterparts of the same name and layout at the Magic Kingdom which ran from 1977 to 1991 when it was replaced by a similar parade called SpectroMagic. From 1999 to 2001, the original Disneyland parade also appeared at the Magic Kingdom before returning to Disneyland for the final run. In 1992, the parade from the Magic Kingdom went to Disneyland Paris and ran from 1992 to 2003, when it was replaced by Fantillusion, a nighttime parade from Tokyo Disneyland that had earlier replaced the Tokyo version of the Main Street Electrical Parade. Tokyo Disneyland's current night parade, Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade: DreamLights was a return to the style of the original updated with new music and floats. In 1972, when the Main Street Electrical Parade debuted, the engineers who helped create the parade also created the first show-control program in existence. This allowed the 2,000-foot (610 m) long parade route to contain multiple radio-activated "trigger zones." Using radio-activated triggers as each float entered a zone, the audience would hear float-specific music through the Disneyland audio system. Each zone was between 70-100 feet long, and the zoned system meant that every person watching the parade would experience the same show, no matter where they stood along the parade route. [1] Until 1977, almost all of the floats were 2D and had to be pulled or pushed along the parade route. The Blue Fairy float was the only 3D float, and ran until closing. A 3D "Chinese Dragon" float was added later on. Main Street Electrical Parade 1995 Main Street Electrical Parade 1995 After the parade closed, light bulbs certified as having been part of the show were sold to collectors. The replacement show, Light Magic, opened in 1997 and was an immediate failure. Disney quickly cancelled Light Magic but held off on bringing back the popular Electrical Parade. The parade was refurbished and appeared at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World in May of 1999 for a limited engagement. The parade ended its run in Magic Kingdom on April 1, 2001. The floats were sent back to California for the parade's return to Disneyland. These plans changed after Team Disney Anaheim saw the poor attendance figures for the spring break season at Disney's California Adventure and feared the park would fail to attract large crowds during the crucial summer season, unless they had a big draw. So on April 25, 2001, Disney announced the popular parade would be coming to California Adventure on July 2, "in honor of the first summer of Disney's California Adventure". That first summer has lasted almost seven years now. The name was changed from Main Street Electrical Parade to Disney's Electrical Parade. Most of the 1996 parade floats returned, except for the Pinocchio Pleasure Island section and Snow White diamond mine float, which were sent to Parc Disneyland at Disneyland Resort Paris in 1997. The parade has been offered during summer periods and selected weekends. It finished a nine-month hiatus during the 2005 off-season at the Disneyland Resort, which allowed replacement of lights on all of the floats and alteration of wording on the drum to, "Disney's Electrical Parade, Presented by Sylvania". Currently the parade runs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and will continue daily once the summer season starts.

Eashy Operashon! Time to correct the mistake from the Street Fighter II V anime! (well, maybe it wasn't as much of a mistake. 17 year old Ryu was probably not as strong and trained as the adult Ryu we all know) Request match. svc Ryu by Z Sabre User/Panda vs William F. Guile by Kurai Naito (Actually, Guile's name is Guile) Stage: Guile's SF2 stage. BGM: Guile's theme remix. Character analysis: This is a kof system based Guile with the snk vs capcom chaos sprites. Just like the one in svc, this Guile can shoot like 2 sonic booms per second and just like the cpu Guile from svc, he can flash kick without having to charge. The sonic boom, his flash kick super and his Sonic Boom barrage super (the one that's from Charlie) have very little recovery time making them safe and spammable moves. His weak punch and kicks have more priority than the ones of my character and he can pretty much keep attacking non stop with them and keep you block stunned because they are quite fast and chain friendly (He has the annoyin tendency to tick you with one of them and then instantly grab you when you block it) The throws can be chained into the flash kick super. The Ai is decent, but a bit spammy, repetitive and abuses the rolling a lot. Strangely enough, he has air blocking despite being snk styled, but doesn't have Guile's version of Charlie's Crossfire Blitz that he had during svc and for some reason Chun Li appears in some intros and win poses. Strategy: Being a snk styled Guile, I did the same thing and chose svc Ryu to fight him. It certainly was a handicap for me, with the 4 button layout, the poor ranged Shoryuken, the slow Hadoukens, the Shinkuu Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku that doesn't suck in the opponent on the first hit (Ryu's in svc did that though, it's just this character that doesn't have it) and basically not having got used to using him and feeling his moves kinda stiff. If he is right next to me, I'm screwed since he can override my own weak punches and kicks with their own and the shoryuken is too slow and being a svc Ryu it can't be made as a reversal, and if I block I get thrown right away (a cheap no escape situation); However, if there's a little bit of distance the low kicks seem to work fine on him. Most jump ins are countered with his flash kick, so the jump kick and combo is not an option. He seems to have a weakness for Ryu's fierce kick, a bit of Hadouken spam in the right situations which thankfully can lead into Shinkuu Hadouken super cancel, and some poking to keep him out of his cheapness range is the last ingredient.

PLEASE SPEND A FEW MOMENTS TO READ THE DESCRIPTION BELOW.Thankyou. *Please note: I did not take these pics* These are the FACTS. Up untill recently this grade II listed Marshall & Tweedy designed Derby Hippodrome was occupied by the 'Walkers' bingo chain. Walkers did little to alter the layout/style of the building except for removing the seats in the stalls to make way for bingo tables. Apart from being slightly dusty up in the dress circle, upper circle and backstage, everything was pretty much as it was when it first opened it's doors in 1914. Yes folks, this building was unmolested, original and patiently waiting for it to be used once more for theatre go-ers of the east midlands. Despite theatre groups being busy putting bids together it was sold to a property developer for £375,000. On 8/3/08 a fire broke out in the orchestra pit. Derby police have since confirmed that it was arson. The fire was confined to the stage and the decorative domed ceiling directly above. Major damage was averted by the 94 year old fire curtain. Even today it now hangs in place trying to guard what's left of the theatre. ON 28/3/08 a demolition company was brought in to make the roof 'safe'. What you see in the video is the end result. Not even a Hollywood script writer could beat this story. All this destruction has happened in the space of a couple of months. YouTubers can draw their own conclusions!! At first glance the damage looks serious, but the building is built to last and is still structurally sound with the roof 'repairs' making things look much worse than they really are. On 17/4/08 thru the High Court in London: English Heritage, Theatres' Trust and Derby City Council will try to safeguard our theatre's existence for future generations to enjoy. These organisations welcome your comments and support. So if like the people of Derbyshire YOU too are outraged at the demise of the Derby Hippodrome (or have a spare million or three to donate) then please email them and express your concerns. NEWS UPDATE: 25/4/08 Derby Council wins our legal battle for an injunction to stop the developer demolishing the Hippo. The developer must now pay the council 20k in legal fees. The fight still continues! NEWS UPDATE: 12/5/08 Officials were called to the Hippodrome after trespassers entered the building and fractured the water main (??) causing some flood damage. YouTubers can once again draw their own conclusions!! To see what our gorgeous theatre looked like up untill a few months ago just go to the other YouTube 'Derby Hippodrome' clips and see for yourself. To determine the cities with the toughest commutes, we took the country's 75 largest metro areas and looked at congestion data from the Texas Transportation Institute to see how long travelers were delayed over the course of a year. We also looked at U.S. Census Bureau data on how many residents had a commute over 45 minutes.Full Digg post: http://digg.com/travel_places/The_10_Most_Congested_Cities_in_America

On June 13-14 the race will take place and drivers Jan "Flash" Nilsson and Thomas Johansson left the scene enthusiastic. "This will be completely awesome, I can't wait!
