I wrote this tune (well, I made it up, I don't write or read music) last summer with thoughts of the deep southwest. Clyde and I developed a middle section for the song. It's about 4 minutes, so if you could stay with it, you are a hardy soul. If we looked rankled, it is because the song has quite a few chords and it took us 4 takes, it was late in the evening. It's still not perfect....but for we Iowa guys, good enough...Thanks for watching....MB
this tune was on the Circle album in the 70's... which got some of us interested in Bluegrass. It's a nice melodic song. Thanks for watching. Mike Bergman on Lead, Jonathan Hull, rhythm guitar, Mike Luttrell, mando, and Terry Augspurger, Bass.
THis is an arrangement I made last summer. Chris plays a tight rhythm guitar that pulls me along. Mike Bergman on lead

Conceived by headlight entrepreneur Fisher, also said to be the first car dealer in US history, the man, like many an American, seems to have become a visionary in the eternal quest of making the almighty buck. In fact, the Lincoln Highway was the first memorial to Abraham Lincoln, predating the monument in ...
