The first in a series of videos which capture some of the health & training programme that I will undertake in the next couple of months, largely based upon Ross Enamaits 'Infinite Intensity', my CQC (MMA) training, the Spartan Health Regime (SHR) philosophy, as well as the health/diet principles of the Weston A Price foundation. Video one is a routine found in Ross Enamait's 'Infinite Intensity' programme; Strength Workout #1 & a sledgehammer finisher. I am not a professional weight trainer/athlete, so I don't pretend to be. No smartarse comments from people hiding behind their keyboards. Constructive comments welcome though.

No pussy ass air-conditioned gym required. Pure fucking savage training for brute strength, endurance, speed and killing power. Throw the bicep curls and tricep kick-backs in the trash and learn to train like a fucking animal.
Just wanted to post my progress with the rope. I think its come on a long way since my first attempt. I managed to get some double-unders in at the end as well.
Obviously Ross Enamait was a big influence.

Currently working through Never Gymless by Ross Enamait. This is just a sample from my strength workout today.
Follow on from part 1
Split into two parts in the book, I only videoed the first part, which I have split into two parts because of length. It took me around 15 mins to complete Part I of the workout. I followed up with the second part but had to reduce reps on pull-ups as fatigue set in: 10, 8, 6, 6, and 4 reps, the rest of the workout was fine, although used 40kg cable on the high pulls instead of a band.

Just trying to kill some time I had left over and hadn't used the vest all session so what the hell. Strapped the 10kg on and banged a few chin ups out. After that I think the expression on my face says "ding ding".
See part 1.
I Wanted to try one of Ross' approach to strength training from Never Gymless this morning. The is to use sets with reps lower than the exhaustion rep. For me exhaustion is 40kg @ 11 reps and 9 reps on the one legged squat. For this I aimed for 6 reps on the first dumbbell set with 2 sets of 5 rep squats on each leg. All subsequent sets are alternating legs @ 4 reps with 5 reps on the bench. In total I did 9 sets of each with minimal rest time. It worked a treat! I was aiming for ten but lost count, I could have actually done another set using this technique because like the book says, you don't fatigue as easily with the fewer reps and greater sets. Oh, the dumbbell on the one legged squat is just for balance, I can't do them unassisted yet. Had a go at home last night and got cramp in my hip flexor trying to keep my leg off the floor. I think I may just need to stretch that area a bit more to give myself the flexibility needed. Its in two parts because of the length.
