A fast-paced "first-person view" quadrocopter flight on a meadow near Etterzhausen. The platform is a small Asctec "X-3D-BL" copter (weighing around 400g). Video equipment is a Dallmeier Electronic UWDR surveillance camera (with thanks to the Elch), a tiny 2.4G video transmitter and receiver from a cheap ZTV "mini wireless camera" set, and fatshark VGA video goggles; video was recorded on the ground by an eeepc (which I apparently forgot to overclock, which is why the video isn't as smooth as it could have been).

X3D-UML: 3D UML Mechatronic Diagrams are designed to provide a 3D UML view with both hardware and software. To demonstrate this we extended the concept of 3D UML integrated with artoolkit. As a summer project, Jin Qian coded an integration between osgpython and Lego NXT robots to enable visual debugging. This video demonstrates that this approach allows us to naturally see the internal states of the robot.
