Between mid September 1995 and December 2005 Scientology was involved in copyright infringement litigation against XS4ALL and Karin Spaink in Holland. This was to protect what is known as the Fishman affidavit. They went through 10 years of legal battling in an attempt to suppress this document; clearly Scientology must be afraid of it being revealed to the world. http://www.xs4all.nl/nieuws/bericht.php?id=706&taal=en They ultimately withdrew the case just before the Dutch Supreme Court was to rule on it. The Dutch Supreme court accepted the withdrawal but ruled on the merits of the case anyway and upheld 2 previous rulings for the defendants against Scientology. The Fisherman affidavit contains a lot of very interesting information about scientology, the way it works and how it views the outside world. It contains information about their OT run downs. Scientology charges lots of money for these and will not release them to students until they have paid to reach the appropriate level. The OT run down information in turn contains the Xenu story at OT III. They also contain the legendary OT 8 run down in which is also dubbed the "Jesus is a paedophile" OT; Scientology initially said this was a forgery but later tried to claim copyright infringement for it. Ahem. Interestingly the Xenu Story is the same story all the supposed high level OT stars in BBC Panorama's denied. The same story Panorama's reporter John Sweeny was attacked for asking about by the scientology spokes person. The Fishman affidavit contains information about Scientology's policy on controlling people through lying to them; indeed it is scientology's view that the only way to control people is to lie to them. It is apparent throughout the whole documentary that scientology was trying to control John Sweeny, the reporter, to influence the BBC Panorama report and suppress what they felt was damaging views of the church. The Fishman affidavit is worth reading.

Me playing around with sculptypaint; A 3D model tool/interaction experiment written in processing (processing.org) The 3Dmodel data can be like imported in Second Life as a sculptimage. Recorder as screenshots (my current P3-866mhz is too slow to use fraps), so it rather moves fast. But gives the general how the software works.
