For several years, within a tiny, one-block radius in Houston, over 100 bands perform for one weekend. Rising from the ashes of the Westheimer Street Festival, the Westheimer Block Party continues to be a dizzying nexus for local bands and fans. This vid is a small sampling of what I enjoyed watching. My apologies to the great musicians, singers, and DJs for the poor sound quality and thanks to Free Press Houston for allowing such auditory entropy to coexist for free. Keep an eye on freepresshouston.com and show your support at the next Houston city council open-session to help Free Press Houston keep the Block Party alive and kicking for years to come!

The footage was a lot clearer when I watched it on I-tunes....There was a big hula hoop party in the parking lot of Mango's I was just being silly here....
Poopy Lungstuffing was filling in for a band that didn't show up and so it turned into an open-mic free-for-all
Free Radicals didn't show up for their slot and this is what ended up happening
