That's an extreme value per liter, and next to that we see 650 Nm of torque. So there is always power available. The block in the RS6 V10 is almost absurdly powerful. German tuner G-Power has presented two road-legal BMW M3 Clubsport models in homage to the BMW Motorsport team who win the 2010 24 Hours of Nurburgring endurance race. The G-Power M3 GT2 S and M3 Tornado CS are the first developments coming out of the the brand new G-Power Motorsport Division established at the beginning of 2010. A department that includes comprehensive care of our motorsport customers, as well as the development of the associated sports equipment. The spectrum ranges from reduced-weight and increased-performance road-legal M3 models for private track laps to racing versions of the M3 with dry weight down to 1300kg and output of more than 700hp, complete with all the associated kit required by private motorsports teams. The G-power M3 Tornado CS is the civilian version of the M3 GT2 S. Both vehicles have the SK II CS supercharger system on board. The system consists of an ASA T1-522 radial compressor, a dual-flow carbon air intake, a substantial cast aluminium charge air cooler and a cast aluminium airbox. All together provide a maximum charge pressure of 0.5 bar generating an output of 600hp (441kW) at 7800rpm (+180hp / 132kW) and a maximum torque of 580Nm at 5300rpm (+180Nm). Google Tech Talk April 13, 2010 ABSTRACT Presented by S. Keshav. Several powerful forces are gathering to make fundamental and irrevocable changes to the century-old grid. The next-generation grid, often called the `smart grid,' will feature distributed energy production, vastly more storage, tens of millions of stochastic renewable-energy sources, and the use of communication technologies both to allow precise matching of supply to demand and to incentivize appropriate consumer behaviour. These changes will have the effect of reducing energy waste and reducing the carbon footprint of the grid, making it `smarter' and `greener.' In this talk, I will demonstrate that the concepts and techniques pioneered by the Internet, the fruit of four decades of research in this area, are directly applicable to the design of a smart, green grid. This is because both the Internet and the electrical grid are designed to meet fundamental needs, for information and for energy, respectively, by connecting geographically dispersed suppliers with geographically dispersed consumers. Keeping this and other similarities (and fundamental differences, as well) in mind, I propose several specific areas where Internet concepts and technologies can contribute to the development of a smart, green grid.
