The Office of Specialized Services (OSS) at Bergen provides accommodations for students with a diagnosed disability or an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
The Office of Financial Aid at Bergen Community College provides support to students applying for federal and state financial assistance.
The Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) at Bergen provides financial assistance in addition to academic support and counseling to those students who qualify.
The Counseling Center at Bergen provides students with academic counseling, transfer counseling, and personal counseling on a walk-in or by-appointment basis.
The Center for Collegiate Deaf Education (CCDE) at Bergen provides students who are deaf or hard of hearing with specialized servic es such as interpreting, captioning, and note-taking.
The Bursars Office at Bergen Community College is in charge of all tuition payments and refunds.

The Bergen Community College Writing Center is home to a thriving community of writers. Writers work closely with peer and professional tutors on all facets of the writing process, from the development of and refining of ideas to revising their writing to practicing effective self-editing strategies. Tutors offer a supportive, challenging environment in which students can practice critical thinking in all their assignments, take intellectual risks, and learn to do academic research, reading, and writing to meet the demands of 21st century literacies.

Professor Cornel West manages to be both informative and entertaining. His style is a cross between preacher, pundit and prophet. He embodies the spirit of Socialism and Christianity, as he inspires us all: young, old, black,white, yellow & red. No man packs more humanity in his ideas. Our man graduated from Harvard, cum laude and went on to receive a masters and Phd from Princeton, where he now teaches.
