BURIED INSIDE ----------------- It is quite necessary to arrange ones thoughts before writing an article, just the way the papers of a book are arranged before it is compiled, otherwise you risk putting the reader in a state of utter confusion. However, so many things have happened and are happening in such a chaotic manner, that the wind has blown away the papers, the thoughts are scattered hither and thither, and I am forced to remain stranded, like a lost sheep away from the herd, waiting for a wolf to attack, from a place I least expect. We were a nice amount of people when we started. There was such energy and enthusiasm and work. Bringing victory to the Deen was all we talked about, that was all what plagued us. We were storming every where and every thing, and our teacher worried that we would get our selves in trouble, and we would laugh about it. Nothing or no one could become an obstacle enough to stop our work...huh... at least, so we had thought. Yet something, that we did not expect crept slowly, seeping deep and broke through. Children's demo Bil'in 19.08.2009 Today, the first nonviolent demonstration for the children of Bil'in took place to protest against the night raids and the many arrests of young boys in the village. They carried banners and chanted slogans like "We want to sleep," "No more night raids," "Let us live," "We want Peace," and so on. The children lead the demonstration toward the Apartheid Wall with villagers and Palestinian and international activists following them. At the Wall they were met by two soldiers only who were on regular duty at the Wall. Arrived at the Wall, the children continued their chanting as the soldiers watched. Two Jeeps arrived with reinforcement. Noticing that the gate, which leads to the green line and gives access to the Wall, was open, five soldiers came through the door of the Wall to close it shut while the children chanted into their faces and activists challenged them about arresting children. They asked them whether they were ever thinking about what they were doing. Once the gate was shut, the occupation forces retreated. The children and the protesters gathered at the Wall for a while placing their posters and flags at the gate. Seeing all the children, the occupation forces refrained from firing any tear gas or ammunition. They simply told everyone to go back. Eventually, everyone returned to the village.

Over the weekend, I decided to finally bite the bullet and swallow a whole bottle of Calms Forte 'sleep aid', which can be found right alongside the other sleeping pills at your local drugstore. Obviously, I am just fine. The only thing I noticed is that a whole bottle of pills tastes like chalk, and afterward it felt as though I had eaten a large bowl of ice cream, probable due to the fact that Calms Forte pills are made primarily with lactose. I know that homeopathic true believers will tell me that being able to swallow a whole bottle of pills is one of the magical wonderful things about homeopathic 'remedies' -taking too much does nothing. Taking too little does nothing. I got a few things wrong in my video, which was 7 minutes entirely without script. Most of my mistakes were in the explanation of how homeopathy works, so I will explain it here: The basic principle of homeopathy is that a substance which will create the symptoms of a disease in a healthy person will actually cure the symptoms of the disease in a sick person. To administer a homeopathic remedy, a starting material (plant extract, dog urine, or whatever) is diluted with 99 parts of diluent (usually alcohol and water).
