Who Voted For The Energy Bill has no followers yet. Be the first one to follow.
The GOP has lost so much support in the general population for their post-Reagan philosophy that to prove government doesn't work hire the least qualified persons to fill government positions that they now have to move so far to the right to pick up supporters they are entering the fringe zone: Teabag City. The drunken misogynist, Dick Armey, is holding a tea party and has invited Michael Steele to bring his RNC friends over to get their teabags dunked. Also discussed is the impact of Parker Griffith switching parties from dem to GOP and whether he's far enough to the right to keep his seat. From Huffington Post: (www.huffingtonpost.com Rep. Parker Griffith, a freshman Blue Dog Democrat from Alabama, will announce Tuesday that he's switching parties to become a Republican. House Republican leadership had been courting Griffith, who voted against the stimulus package, health care reform, the energy bill, equal pay for women, the 2010 budget resolution and financial regulatory reform. He said at a town hall in August that he would not vote for Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) as Speaker of the House again because of her "divisive and polarizing" image. He also told constituents at the time that only Blue Dog Democrats could prevent the health care bill from moving forward in the House.
Several revelations in this clip. The same Congressman Murphy who voted for the bill that iexpanded government control of the energy sector, the bill that expanded government spending by $787 bilion dollars (which has hardly been accounted for) and most recently voted for a bill that will expand government involvement in our Healthcare decisions and cost more than a trillion dollars; the same Patrick Murphy has come out as an ardent supporter of LIMITED GOVERNMENT. We also learn that government is like a referee. But if this is the case and Congressman Murphy voted for the Healthcare bill with the Public Option, does Congressman Murphy think that the referees in the NFL should also own the teams?
Tim Holden voted "no" on the American Clean Energy and Security Act. Just like the special interests told him to.

www.senate.gov WHITE HOUSE NUMBERS: Comments: 202-456-1111 Switchboard: 202-456-1414 FAX: 202-456-2461 CALL THEM, FAX THEM, LET THEM KNOW, WE ARE TAKING OUR COUNTRY BACK!! Obama LIED to the American people when he told you that the Cap and Trade Bill will ONLY cost you about $150.00 per YEAR in higher electric bills. When he was campaigning for President in 2008, he ADMITTED that "electricity bills would necessarily SKYROCKET" with his Cap and Trade Bill. On June 26, 2009, the Cap and Trade Bill narrowly passed through the House of Representatives. It will now go to the Senate for a vote. We MUST take our country back. STOP your Senator from voting FOR this ridiculous bill. This administration has played with your guilt feelings that it is YOUR fault that there is "global warming". Global warming is a hoax to get more of YOUR hard earned dollars! We, the American People CAN stop this fiasco, but we must ALL take action. If all of us would call our Senators and tell them to vote NO on this Cap and Trade Bill, we could stop it in its tracks. If we just sit around complaining and we do NOTHING, then prepare to spend a LOT of extra money per month on electricity. Prepare to lose MORE American jobs as companies outsource yet more jobs overseas because the burdens of high taxes and this stupid carbon tax forces them to do so. This bill will not do anyone any good except for hypocrites like Al Gore who lives in a huge mansion using 20 times the electricity and energy that any of ...
House Passes the 1200-page Climate Bill that Congress was Not Allowed to Read Aaron Dykes Infowars June 26, 2009 www.infowars.com Despite heated objections by some Republicans, the unread 1200-page Waxman-Markey climate bill was passed 219-212 in the House on Friday. Final roll call votes are listed here. During Boehners brief attempt at filibuster, he reads passages related to the usage of "qualified youth corps" to regulate energy efficiency in regards to "the sustainability of low-end income communities." "I wonder if ACORN qualifies for these grants," Boehner quipped. Objecting to the fact that 300 pages were added to the bill at 3 am, Minority leader John Boehner attempted a brief filibuster, giving time for colleagues and aides to scan the unread extra passages and present certain excerpts on the floor. Politico blasts his effort, reporting: That wasnt good enough for House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio), who delayed the roll call vote by reading page-by-page through a 300-page managers amendment Democrats added at around 3 am Friday. Boehner seemed to relish the hour-long stunt, picking out the bills most obscure language and then pontificating about what it might or might not mean. Shockingly, co-sponsor Henry Waxman objected to Boehners reading the bill on the House floor, and tried to prevent it on procedural grounds so that is contents would remain unknown and no one would shift support or delay the bills passage. Rep. Radanovich offered an amendment in the Energy and Commerce Committee to the Waxman-Markey Cap and Tax bill that would have made null and void the cap and trade provisions of the legislation if the overall bill was found to have caused national agriculture job losses of over 5 percent. Shockingly, Democrats voted to kill the amendment and with it, potentially the US agriculture industry.
