When two young women intervened an onlooker pulled out his camera phone and started to roll tape. The altercation took place yesterday on Martin Luther King Junior Way South. The tape begins as the officer appears to be trying to arrest one of the girls for jaywalking. Both girls, ages 19 and 17, were eventually cuffed and booked on suspicion of obstructing an officer. The one who was punched was checked out by medics and deemed to be OK. The incident comes a month after an officer was caught on tape threatening to "beat the fucking Mexican piss" out of a robbery suspect he then stomped on the face. King 5 says Seattle police have decided not to review tape of this latest arrest, but we'll see what happens later once this thing circulates. ------------------ What say Ye....Were the females in the wrong aka ( Shut your FKN mouth already!) or was the cop in the wrong. Say hello to one of the Houston Zoos newest arrivals in the big cat family, Hana the Malayan tiger. Hana is 9 years old and comes to Houston from the Fresno Chaffee Zoo in California. Hana came here so one of our male Malayan tigers, Jammu could go to the Alexandria Zoo in Louisiana. Jammus move to Alexandria was recommended by the Tiger Species Survival Plan (SSP). There are few Malayan tigers in US zoos and the SSP identified Jammu as the perfect mate for the Alexandria Zoos female Malayan tiger. Hana's birthday is February 28. Weighs 87 kilograms or 191 pounds. Hanas keepers describe her as a very calm cat. Shes already settling into a daily routine, alternating time in the tiger exhibit with Pandu. Pandu and Hana are closely related and therefore are not recommended for breeding.

Location Madikwe Game Reserve, South Africa (Jacis Lodges)Note this is rather graphic, but the Kudu goes into a state of shock- so shouldnt feel too much. This way of killing(where wild dogs exhaust their prey by sustaining a speed of between 55-60km p/h for 3-5km, and once caught the animal is to weak to fight back) is quicker for the animal to die- in comparison to suffocation (Lions etc..) which can take up to 6 minutes for death to occur.
Large male tiger attacks female sloth bear and her cub. The tiger had recently killed the dominant male and taken over his territory. Protective of his new domain he was exhibiting an aggressive nature to all animals that crossed his path. This female bear was purely trying to protect her cub but unfortunately lost the battle. READ this to understand the video and the story behind it!!! DISCLAIMER: The Amarice portrayed here is not the one from Xena: The Warrior Princess. She was created based on that character but has a completely different background. Despite the resemblance with the canon character, this Amarice is not an Amazon. The term is used only in jest in the video due to the fact that Amarice is a feisty female warrior. I must confess that I borrowed the idea of using this song to portray this character from someone who had already made such a video. However, when the video was deleted I just had to make this video because the song fits Amarice perfectly, both the canon and my original one. This idea is the only thing I copied; the arrangement of the video footages and of the additional audio files is my very own creation. THE STORY: This character was created for a RPG (role-playing game) I am currently involved in and I am also thinking about writing a fanfic. Wild female Ruffed Grouse in Northeast Tennessee filmed several times in late May 2008 sitting with people or running behind a 4-wheeler. She will fly, if necessary, to keep up with the 4-wheeler, but she has a core territory she will not go beyond. She will come to meet me wherever we stop 4-wheelers in her territory, but she steps out onto the trail whenever she hears my 4-wheeler approaching alone. In short- believe it or not, there are more captive tigers than wild tigers and that is something we do not like. The cats we have serve no purpose for the future of their species (not a part of the SSP) other than educating the public. We do tours of our facility and educate the public about captive and wild tigers and we send funds to tiger conservation projects overseas. We hope that one day the problem of people owning and breeding tigers as pets will be a thing of the past.
