Das Drehbuch basiert auf den klassischen Theaterstücken von Grillparzer und Brentano und behandelt verwirrte Leidenschaft, Weltuntergang und die Zerstörung der heidnischen Welt durch das neue feudale System. Britannien im sechsten Jahrhundert: das Land ist in zahlreiche Hoheitsgebiete der Angeln, Pikten, Kelten oder Juden zerfallen und steht unter der Knute der Iren. Die beiden verlieben sich unsterblich ineinander. Nach seiner Rückkehr versuchen die Iren mit einem Trick Zeit zu gewinnen, indem sie die verfeindeten Stämme Britanniens zu einem Turnier auffordern. Tristan tritt für Cornwall an und gewinnt Isolde, ohne von ihrer Identität zu wissen, als Frau für Marke. Von nun an sind beide in einem Zwiespalt...und lassen sich schließlich zu heimlichen Lilebestreffen hinreißen. Als das Markes Konkurrenten zu Ohren kommt, planen sie mit den Iren ein Komplott, das ein Königreich vernichten könnte...

Gwenhwyfar and Bedwyr spend a week together in Wales, before they leave to Venta and during this week Gwenhwyfar starts to ask herself if her would have been better with Bedwyr as her husband. Time is also come for Arthur and Gwenhwyfar to meet each other, but their first meeting is not so good, since the king doesn't show her any sign of love... Even if I love this Gwenhwyfar with all my heart, I wish she could have married Bedywr instead of Arthur :( But I feel sorry for her because of how Arthur treats her at the beginning. It's not shown so well in the video, but I hope it's understandable still *__* This time the choice for the song hasn't been so difficult, since this song fits perfectly for Bedwyr/Lancelot :) And I like Heather Dale very much!! A new film about love and spirituality in the pagan dark ages. Libuse, the Slavic queen of 8th century Bohemia was gifted with supernatural powers, a visionary and a seer.
