Follow us on Facebook www.facebook.com "You mean if somebody wants to cut me into pieces to find what I'm made of?" she beams. "Well, I'll have plenty of time to think about it because I plan to live till I'm 120-plus!" She pauses, laughs and promises: "Only kiddin'". Except can we really be sure she is? For this is track's most enduring and ageless monument, the woman who seems to be cheating time itself. On Saturday, here at the European Championships in Barcelona, the most bemedalled athlete in history will compete for Slovenia in a major event, in the sprint relay, 30 years and three days since she ran at her first, in the Moscow Olympics, for Jamaica. Two months after her 50th birthday, this seems impossible. Even to her. "Last year, doctors were telling me to stop or I'd end up in a wheelchair, but now I'm here and I'm thinking, 'Wow, girl, you are still here, still doin' it after all these years'. You know, I can't quite believe it." Nor can any of us. It is why as she sits in her hotel lounge, impossibly still looking as lithe and youthful as her competitors, most of whom were not even born when she won the first of 33 major championship medals, she is still the event's most graceful centre of attention. It is why a frazzled Spanish television man had been buzzing around all morning desperate for an interview. He had rung her room a dozen times, knocked on her hotel door and beseeched her with a bunch of flowers. Ottey, as only the best divas can, kept him waiting ...

A short film by EDF. A woman stands on the middle of the pavement, trying to get people's attention; wheelchair users race past her, paying her no mind and almost knocking her over. Next, a different woman in a government building walks up to a receptionist and starts talking to him. He responds impatiently in sign language. The woman smiles awkwardly, unsure of how to react. The next shot is of a large ramp, wheelchair users going up and down in the blazing rain, while an able-bodied man is trying to make his way down without slipping. The next shot is one of various wheelchair users using payphones situated at their height level, with an able-bodied man awkwardly crouching down to use one as well. The next shot shows a traffic light, with simplified figures in wheelchairs as red and green lights. Two men in wheelchairs chat with each other as they cross the road. A man walks through a library, avoiding a woman using a cane, and takes a book from the shelf and leafs through pages in Braille, uncomprehending. He sits down pensively, book in hand, as text on the screen says, "MAY THE WORLD BE MADE FOR YOU." The screen goes white with Braille in the background and says, "ACCESS FOR EVERYONE".

Enjoy haha Its been a while hasnt it? Click the Video under Response for next part^^ Upload for tonii104st The Doll Master begins in the past in a countryside during the Japanese occupation of Korea, some 70 years ago. A narrator tells us the tale of a doll maker who fell in love with a woman in red. He makes a doll as a gesture of his love. It works and the woman falls in love with him as well. Later in a tragic set of circumstances, the woman is found murdered. All the people blame the doll master. He is eventually arrested and killed by vigilantes in the woods. The doll, not content to be without her maker, sits by his grave for all time, apparently mourning his loss as if alive. Fast-forward to the present, where a group of strangers from the city have arrived at an isolated art museum in the middle of nowhere, with the promise of dolls to be made in their image. Of the group, there is Hae-mi, a sculptor; Tae-seong, a male model looking for work, Yeong-ha, a woman who claims she talks to her doll Damian, with a horny photographer and a ditzy high school student rounding out the final two. The group is greeted by the museums curator, who introduces them to the museums dolls, as well as a doll maker, who happens to be confined to a wheelchair. After Yeong-ha's doll has its head separated from its body, the guest list starts slimming down fast. All the clues point to a mysterious, young woman, Mi-na from the nearby village.

Thigh High Boots & Bondage Tape (21:52) I haven't worn my thigh high boots for well over a year and want to know if I can get them on easily. I transfer onto my bed and put on a tight tartan mini dress and a pair of thigh high socks before lifting my left leg up and easing on a very sexy leather thing high boot. I manage to get them both on and admire myself before my housemate gets the red bondage tape and secures my wrists together. I didn't realise how difficult it would be with my hands tied and I struggle to even sit up, let alone keep my balance. I eventually get into my wheelchair and wheel myself into the living room still restrained. I want to see if I can transfer onto the sofa but I slip. I try but there is no way I can get on that sofa so I give up! The blood is from my elbow just incase you were worried!

Produced by Nancy Christy Heinen for Pathways to Independence. Becky recalls her guidance counselor advising her to look into secretarial jobs, "So I could sit behind a desk all day," assuming that was all she was capable of. David recounts how he bristled when people told him to be "reasonable" in his expectation s for the future. Melvin remembers sitting in a chicago hospital with other kids who were victims of gang violence, realizing that if he wanted to be taken seriously, he'd have to earn it-- but how? Low expectations throw up barriers for a woman with muscular dystrophy, a man with cerebral palsy, a black man with paraplegia. Studies show that students with disabilities are filtered from exposure to opportunities for higher education and vocational training. And yet, these and two other individuals featured in "Careers" demonstrate how higher education is the key for an individual with a disability to break through the barricades that traditionally block disabled professionals from entering the career world. The video illustrates that a wheelchair-- or any other disability-- does not prevent a person from pursuing higher education and a future more rewarding than simply performing a job. We hope it will inspire, and educate, those with crucial influence on young people with disabilities, and that it will spark the imaginations and aspirations of students to the real world possibilities that can-- and should-- open the door to finding a path to a career. *This video is captioned. For captioning, go to the up arrow in the bottom right corner of the video and turn captioning on.* This three-minute video clip shows six people singing. A young woman in street clothes in a wheelchair sings in the foreground. Next to her is a young man wearing a black fedora hat, also in a wheelchair and singing. In the background are three women dressed in pale blue nurses scrubs. They wear pink, orange and red wigs and stethoscopes hang from their necks. They have worried expressions on their faces as they caress a TV set with a rabbit ears antenna. The TV set sits on a white sheet draped bed. A man dressed in a doctors white robe sits on the bed next to the TV set. He examines the TV with medical tools, tapping the TV, sings, and leaves the scene. When the nurses sing the chorus they make faces and wave their arms. A blind man then sits in front of the TV holding a white cane. He sings the second verse. The nurses chorus again sings. They wave a large red government coupon and two cable TV boxes. A converter box is plugged into a TV set. In the final scene, the chorus nurses, man in doctors coat, man with white cane, and two people in wheelchairs sing again. As the verse ends they are pelted with tiny red government coupons by a hand that reaches into the scene. The final image is of a TV set. lonelynote15 - Alone In The Parlor: Alone in the parlor, she's covered with tarter and lace Her ashen complexion has left all affection erased Plaster from the ceiling is forming a hill in her hair And from under her nose runs the staleness that grows in the air But for one fleeting moment you might catch a glint in her eye Just memories of joyous occasions that life has passed by And she is running through daffodils She is climbing for apples And she is laughing and loving again Alone in the parlor, she sits by a window and stares A light filters in through the dust and corrosion that's there The cracks in her lips hold a voice that was buried a long time ago And the silence that's settled surrounds her from head to toe But if you listen quite closely you might hear the beat of her heart Just echoes of ages removed, but not very far And she is running through daffodils She is climbing for apples And she is laughing and loving again Alone in the parlor, and clinging to life by a thread The blood in her veins has started to change into lead The light in her eyes flickers for a moment, and then it is gone And the beat of her heart joins the silence that's been going on But if you watch very closely you might swear you saw that she moved Just posthumous twitches resulting from post-mortem blues
Plot: Jerry, Elaine, Kramer and George has went to the store to buy a TV to a friend. But since they are no parking spaces Kramer convince George to park in the handicap spot. When they come back there's a crowd around their car and they tell a story of a woman who had to park at the bottom floor and then use her wheelchair to get up the ramps. But in the middle of a ramp the battery dies and she crashes into the wall. The crowd blames the car owners. Therefor, the gang goes back to the supermall and sits in a café to come up with what they gonna do.
