By themselves, fishing guide Mark Chmura of Pier Pressure Charters and Tim Roller of Ultimate Outfitters are two of the Great Lakes' best anglers. Seeing the two (both Team Pautzke pro staffers) on the boat at the same time is rare, but they each sacrificed a day with clients to fish with Pautzke Director of Operations Chris Shaffer on Northern Michigan's popular Manistee River. Chmura and Roller (the world record brown trout holder) were testing the success of spawn sacks filled with egg cured in Pautzke Bait Company's BorXOFire and finished with excellent results. Here, the duo explains how to use the product, particularly in the Great Lakes market. Looking to cure single eggs for use in spawn sacks? There's nothing better than these bad boys.

Lake Simcoe Ice Fishing in Gilford, there was 8" of black ice so i knew it wa safe enogh to walk on out friend even drove his 1/2 ton truck on the ice xd I think we walked out 1 1/2 miles from the green hut as soon as you get on the ice in Gilford.. We first went to Le Froy but the ice was only 3" and we weren't going to be the first ones on the ice there so we went over to Gilford, thank god because 3 hours after we got to Gildford some one went through the ice about 1/2 mile out... We didn't have a hut but we sat against the wind and it was ok, i this it was -20 ish with the wind chill that day...Over all caught 14 jumbo perch kept 7 all over 6".... ok guys have a good one, i mite go back up on January 28th 2010 and see what it's like.. PEACE !!

Lake Tarawera is situated in the central part of North island in New Zealand.It is the home of big trouts and a lot of world record trout has been landed form this out standing fishery.The trout feed on abundant Kaora "fresh water crayfish" and their flash very firm and turn to a bright orange shade with a high concentrate of omega fat.It is as good if not better than salmon.The lake is very deep and in the summer the fish have access to cool deep water with plenty of food.Tight line and good health.
