One of the absolute best coasters in the world, X2 features a ride that does loops and corkscrews while the individual pods being on their own axis, also revolve 360 degrees while you are progressing through the ride...UNBELIEVABLE. A ride NOT to be missed if you are in the LA area, This clip is for Shannon, Andy, Alexa and Justin to prove that I lived to tell about it. Note esp. the moments leading up to the first plunge the position the cars move into and while they are going down that initial 88.7 degree fall. If you look closely you can see the pods begin to rotate so that you are headed FACE-DOWN during part of the plunge and then the pods completely flip over by the time you reach bottom. This is X2 @ SFC One of the newest rides at SFC, def. a ride thats not for the faint at heart, this ride will eat you up and spit you out and then eat you up again, not to mention it will give you a big ass head ache so take some Advil !!!! By the way you might want to lower you volume just a bit
Monday July 19, 2010: Me and my friend (My friend being the one who held the camera) went to Six Flags Magic Mountain for my birthday. X2 was definetly the most extreme, this is the first tme for me EVER at six flags for me that I was actualy scared, almost to the brink of tears! Definetly the best. X is the craziest ride in magic mountain and probably america. Its my favorite ride there and if you like roller coasters come to california and ride this one. My favorite part about this ride is that the seats rotate while you ride.
X2 (HD POV) Six Flags Magic Mountain. Crazy ride to film. Since i was filming it i could not hold on to my seat and my head kept banging on the bars. Overall it was worth it because i only waited five minutes. Thats right five minutes because it was not crowded.

My Point of View (POV) video shot from the front seat of Six Flags Magic Mountain's X2. The music you hear in the video is actually pumped directly into each rider's headrest - the music matches track's transitions. This is a sit down coaster with a twist - the seats rotate 360 degrees. This coaster has a top speed of 76 mph, an overall track length of 3610 feet and towers over the southern end of the park at 20 stories.
great ride but i think they actually made too smooth compared to the original X. It's kinda like a walk in the park now.
