A demo of the SIEL DK80 , a DCO-based Italian synth from 1985. The LinnDrum provides the drum beat, a Yamaha RBX170 provides the bass line, and the DK80 does all the other sounds. The style is Italo Disco / Synth Pop of the 1980s.
Me doing a cover of the seven nation army. Very easy song, i think theres a couple of mistakes but anyway its a try.Mention that i play 2 weeks or so. Theres some delay cause of the webcam i was recording it with so it might look that i am going slower than the song. Bass Yamaha RBX 170
Just Got This on easter for my birthday :] It's not too bad for the price, its almost perfect for it being cheap xD. But Highs are amazing, but the lows could need some improvement. Switch Em out with Emg bass pickups if needed, Imo 125$ now apparently, day after i got this at 175$ and sorry if this review sucked.. xD its my first one
I call this song Meade. It was created on my 14th wedding anniversary. I was not able to be with my wife because I was at a military outpost called Meade, located in southern Iraq. The bass is a Yamaha RBX 170 I purchased at an Iraqi bazaar. After seeing how much they cost in the US I realized I paid WAY too much. I like the sound and the neck but I am having problems with the tuning keys and electronics. I miss my Sadowsky. I am currently using a reflective belt as my guitar strap.
Muse Hysteria bass cover. It's far from perfect, and I made a bunch of mistakes, but it's a really fun song to play.
This is my cover of Tell Me Baby by RHCP. In this one you will hear only my bass :) So enjoy! If you like it you can subscribe cause I'll be posting new covers all the time...

This is my cover of Anna Molly by Incubus. Awesome song, I hope you will like it. If you do, subscribe cause I will be posting covers all the time.
Waiting on the World to Change Bass Cover. I learned this song to fill in on bass for a friend's band. The bass line is pretty hard to hear on the original recording's mix, so this is my interpretation of what I could hear of it. ;)
This is my cover of ''Buiiki Kaesu'' by ''Maximum The Hormone''... I am not a fan of them, but I saw David's cover of it, and it was awesome, so I had to learn it :) I hope you will enjoy watching it :)
This is my cover of ''Storm In a Teacup'' by the RHCP, I had to change the pitch because of WMG :/ I used Yamaha RBX 170 bass and a Fender Bassman 150 amp.
Hi! This is my first cover ever :) Rhcp - Blackeyed Blonde This was for the Fleabass contest but I changed the video... I hope you like it :)
My Symphonic Black/Folk Metal project based on dark historic Barbadian folklore. The name comes from a mythical Barbadian spirit of a irritable ghost that possesses women and live in their stomachs. Not working on original songs right away, starting with some covers from some of the bands like Windir, Burzum, Mayhem, Ulcus & Cor Scorpii that influenced my creativity & key sound towards Conrad. This is my first attempt, next year i'll be doing more covers.

i'm no pro so there ARE mistakes gear: Yamaha RBX170 Zoom B1
It's a complete version of Moonlight Sonata performed by myself with my Yamaha RBX 170. I've recorded the music by microphoning my Randall RB30XM without using any effects (a little reverb would be great though). Strings are 0.40 Fender 7250's washed in acetone bath for 2 weeks (not on purpose). I've transcribed the notes by myself, and tried to play it "fluent" (not "scattato" as in the other videos) so sorry for the ones looking for any tabs, coz I haven't got any. There are a few mistakes at the end, but it's really exhausting to play it flawless. I hope you enjoy and feel free to write your opinions. Edit: many comments are coming about the level of my amp. The level seems ok for me, even with my notebook speakers, but in some parts, it's normal for it to sound too low, coz i'm getting too "light" on the strings to lay some "emotion" on the piece. The only possible reply for this case is: turn up your volume :)
I only did it from the intro to the start of the bass solo (sorry) please comment and rate Sorry for the mistakes gear used: Yamaha rbx 170 behringer bxl 450a monster cable

Me playing the bass line to Best of you by the foo fighters, i am only a begginer so i mess up at the beggining, but i pick it up later on in the song. The guitar im using is a yamaha RBX170 The audio and video went out of sync aswell :(
Me playing/covering Dave Brubeck's jazz clssic 'Take Five' on Bass Guitar. I learnt and transcribed the whole piece by ear. Really smooth saxophone line and a great starting introduction song for kiddies who wanna get into jazz music. I play a few sloppy lines with wrong notes in a few instances but i think this cover is ok for now. I play the saxophone solo note for note. Im using a cheap Yamaha RBX170 through a Hartke VX2150 combo. Enjoy everyone! Please comment, rate, and don't forget to subscribe! ;)
Me jamming with a nice blues backing track and a bit of delay. Fun for the whole family! Throughout the jam I reference a few great players like BB King and Jaco Pastorius. See if you can pick them. Everyone tells me it sounds like bad porn background music. Its smooth 12 bar blues and nothing more! I'm using a Yamaha RBX170 through a digitech BP50 with a delay setting, and a Hartke Vx2510 250w combo. Thanks for watching. This video isn't meant to show my chops at all, i put this up because i think no one's done this on youtube before (a lead bass improvised blues jam).
Me covering Kool & the Gang's classic Jungle Boogie. Fantastic groovy, funky bassline. Towards the middle and end it gets a bit boring so i added a wah bass solo at about the second half of the song :) I'm playing a Yamaha RBX170 through a Digitech BP50 (with wah in solo) and a Hartke HA2500 250w combo. Enjoy! Thanks for watching and comments appreciated
bass tech from dewayne pate
My original arrangement of Andrew Lloyd Webber's famous 'Phantom of the Opera' for 4 string bass guitar. This is completely 2 hand tapped. Awesome musical, fantasic song. For drums i used Acoustica Beatcraft. A good, no frills drum maker. The breakdown was inspired by Nightwish's cover of Phantom of the Opera. I'm playing a Yamaha RBX170 through a Digitech BP50 pedal and a Hartke HA2500 250w combo. Comments/thoughts/critisism appreciated. Thanks for watching
Me playing 'Hot Fun' from Stanley Clarke's debut album School Days. Nice and simple yet catchy slap orientated song. I havent seen anyone else cover any other songs off his School Days album so i decided to do this one. I don't play it anywhere as articulate as Stanley Clarke but i try anyway. =] I think theres a one or two mistakes but i didn't have time to do it again. I'm using a Yamaha RBX170 through a Hartke HA2500 250w combo and a Digitech BP50 multi-effects processor. Lots and lots of high end on the Hartke! Thanks for watching! Comments appreciated
Me playing Victor Wooten's 'More Love' on bass guitar off his 'A Show of Hands' debut album. I play it downtuned like many other who have posted their attempts. Victor Wooten plays it with Tenor tuning (ADGC), whereas to play this version simply tune your G string down to F. I'm playing a Yamaha RBX170 through a Hartke HA2500 250W combo with a Digitech BP50 multi-effects processor. Nevermind the mistakes. I made a few in the song if you listen carefully. Thanks for watching! Comments appreciated. ps yeah, i can't tap. But try to anyway. lol. If anyone has any problems just ask and i may help. Just no asking for tabs lol.
Me playing the classic bassline from City is Burning by Pennywise off their album UNKNOWN ROAD. Classic punk bassline, bass solo and all. The recording is actually played with a pick but i play fingerstyle, has a warmer sound. Great bassline. Just a quick setup; Yamaha RBX170 4 string bass through a Hartke VX2150 250w combo amp.
Me playing my Jaco Pastorius' Portrait of Tracy cover on bass, off his self titled Debut album. Classic bass guitar standard all bass player's should learn. Victor Wooten actually said once this song itself taught him about bass harmonics. I'm playing a Yamaha RBX170 through a Hartke HA2500 250w combo. Critism most welcome. Only rewatching the video do i see how badly i set the tone for this recording. oh well. Enjoy and thanks for watching!

Salute M@tt, je ne parle pas français tres bien, mais je sais comment se déchirer dans sa chambre ^_^ Q&A: I play with 2 different pre-sets on my Behringer V-Amp and a Yamaha Pacifica guitar. I recorded this directly (no amp to mic) with Audacity on a MacBook Pro, mixed and montaged with Adobe Premiere Pro on WinXP. I can't play the part Matt plays, nor do I have tabs of either parts, since most of it is improvised. Guitars in the background are from left to right: - Fender Music Master from the 50's - El Cheapo Les Paul wannabe without even a brand - Custom Rikkers 6 string fretless bass (as seen in Third Wing video) - Yamaha RBX170 (fretted) - Yamaha RBX260F (fretless) Finally I feel silly replying to each comment just to thank you, but thanks for all the compliments :)
