TNYS We didn't bust: We got Amar'e and other talented, young weapons. "The Knicks are back!" We lost David Lee, a great guy who will be missed, but we got more talent and ammunition for our team. Felton's a defensive guy who knows how to ball, while Amar'e is straight-up thunder. We haven't had a true leader since Pat Ewing. Now Amar'e will lead the new chapter. Anthony Randolph has tremendous potential, Turiaf is a shot blocker and a great teammate, while Kelenna Azubuike is a shooter who hustles and plays defense. Anthony Randolph: bit.ly Ronny Turiaf: bit.ly Kelenna Azubuike: bit.ly Raymond Felton: bit.ly We used to be that team that scored a lot, but had lousy defense, but now we can score, defend, and finish like true winning teams can. The Knicks are back. Oh yeah, a guy named Carmelo might come to the mecca, the Garden. No big deal. LeBron who? The MLB All-Star Game: Boring. McCann hit a bases-clearing double. End of story. Great pitching, yes, but the game wasn't special. Can't complain, as I watched amazing pitchers perform, but I like homers and triples and excitement. My opinion. David Wright represented the Mets well. 2-2 with a stolen base. Not surprised that the backup 3rd baseman, Scott Rolen, played more than the actual starter, Wright. Charlie Manuel, Phillies manager, hates the Mets. We hate his fat, turkey-like self more. Go Mets. And if we make the World Series we'll have home field advantage. RIP George Steinbrenner True owner who changed the game. TN YS
I wrote One Life (Is All You Get) in 2003 and recorded it with GarageBand software in 2008 (see lyrics and production notes below). I made this video in July 2010, using some Flip video footage that I shot of the 2009 Phillies-Yankees World Series (I was hoping for something to reinforce the third verse lyrics -- catcher wants a breaking ball, etc. -- and happened to capture CC Sabathia eschewing the curve ball only to surrender a home run to Chase Utley in Game 1). Legendary baseball announcer Tim McCarver unwittingly supplies a perfect counterpoint to the song's theme. words and music by Jonathan Ochshorn (copyright 2003 J. Ochshorn) 1. driving down that dusty road pulling such a heavy load with no directions to tell me where i'm gonna go looking down that road ahead should i take that turn instead don't ask me brother truth is i just don't know 2. working at this job so long don't know if it's right or wrong no use thinking 'bout what might have been just like my daddy said to me "if you finish up that damn degree" well there's no telling whether i will lose or win [chorus] as the world keeps on turning forever move on living with no regret boys and girls whether it's foolish or clever one life is all you get [instrumental/chorus] 3. catcher wants a breaking ball pitcher's waving off the call he throws a high heater with the series on the line batter scores the winning run pitcher wants that pitch undone but nobody can turn back the hands of time [chorus x2] Production ...
bit.ly BALTIMORE -- Precautionary X-rays performed on the left thumb of Brett Gardner were negative Wednesday, one day after the Yankees outfielder felt soreness following a check-swing. Gardner said that he has repeatedly felt some discomfort in the thumb since he fractured it last season, but that rest usually allows him to get back in the lineup the next day. Kevin Russo was in New York's lineup to play left field instead, though Gardner did enter Wednesday's game as a pinch-runner, scoring a run in the eighth inning of a 4-2 win over the O's. Gardner said that he expects to have a MRI performed on Friday in New York.

Part 2 Final Score: 8/10 Gameplay- 9 Graphics- 7 Presentation- 8 Sound- 9 OVERALL - 8 Pros - Gameplay is fun, using motion controls are fun and innovative and easy to learn. Commentary is stellar, tracks are ok (no name bands). Franchise mode is deep, homerun contest is fun for parties or whatnot, insider edge is helpful Cons - No online play = huge letdown. No trading card system, no minor league teams, graphics are ps2ish. Some players dont even look like themselves.. At all.. ryan howard looks like he lost 150 pounds
