dCourier.com presents: The Yavapai College Roughrider basketball team of 2008 talk about the finish they had last season and what they look forward to in the season that starts on Friday, November 7, 2008 at the Storm Center in Prescott.
dCourier.com presents: In an age of rampant attention disorder, mass distraction, and otherwise static in modern society, it's never too early to teach kids manners and basic etiquette. Instructor Cindy Eis specializes in familiarizing young people with the principles of politeness throughout the year in at Yavapai College and through Prescott Valley's parks and recreation department.
Lyric Tenor Todd Green received his B.A. in Music from Lubbock Christian University in 1994. From 1995-1997 he attended Texas Tech Universty where he continued to follow his passion with further studies in vocal performance under the acclaimed baritone Gerald Dolter and tenor Karl Dent, as well as post-graduate study in choral conducting under Dr. Kenneth Davis. While at Texas Tech, Todd performed with the renowned Texas Tech University Choir and was also a member of the elite Texas Tech Madrigal Singers. Todd is the 1994 recipient of the Lubbock Music Teachers Association Award, the first place recipient of the 1996 Lubbock Christian University Vocal Competition, and a first place recipient of the 2003, 2004, 2005, & 2006 Prescott Valley Days Talent Show. In 1995 and 1996, Todd traveled to Germany to lead a small choral ensemble in several performances in the local Gemeinde Christi. In recent years Todd has been seen performing the tenor solos in Prescott Master Chorale's "Carmina Burana" production and in Handel's "Messiah" with the Arizona Arts Chorale and Yavapai College. Todd lives in Phoenix, AZ and is a private vocal coach and performer.

This special 75th Anniversary exhibition documents the impact and historical significance of the Nazi book burnings of 1933. It is presented by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Docent tours are available. Exhibit hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursday until 8 p.m. The exhibit is closed on Sundays. Admission is free.
