Here´s A Beautiful Song! Adoro Esta Banda! Wanna pack your bags, Something small Take what you need and we disappear Without a trace we'll be gone, gone The moon and the stars can follow the car and then when we get to the ocean We gonna take a boat to the end of the world All the way to the end of the world Oh, and when the kids are old enough We're gonna teach them to fly You and me together, we could do anything, baby You and me together yes, yes (x2) You and I, we're not tied to the ground Not falling but rising like rolling around Eyes closed above the rooftops Eyes closed, we're gonna spin through the stars Our arms wide as the sky We gonna ride the blue all the way to the end of the world To the end of the world Oh, and when the kids are old enough We're gonna teach them to fly You and me together, we could do anything, baby You and me together yes, yes We can always look back at what we did All these memories of you and me baby But right now it's you and me forever girl And you know we could do better than anything that we did You know that you and me, we could do anything You and me together, we could do anything, baby You and me together yeah, yeah Two of us together, we could do anything, baby You and me together yeah, yeah Two of us together yeah, yeah Two of us together, we could do anything, baby We alone to reach the end of the world

From Wikipedia: "Yours Is No Disgrace" is the opening track of 1971 album The Yes Album by the British progressive rock band Yes. It is notable as the first song to feature Steve Howe on guitar. It is one of the band's best known early songs and is the first in which the band attempted to explore longer songs, which would come to be a vital attribute in Yes songs over the next decade on albums such as Close to the Edge, Tales from Topographic Oceans, and Relayer. The song, along with other album tracks "Starship Trooper" and "Perpetual Change", is an early example of a rock epic for its complex form and length. The song's composition had important contributions from all band members. It begins with the first sounds of Steve Howe's jagged, distorted guitar, followed by a powerful duet of Tony Kaye's warm organ and Chris Squire's growling bass, and then an a capella by Jon Anderson. From here on, all the members join together in an ensemble and the song grows in its complexity. The song is also notable for the use of the stereo tracks, most remarkably during Howe's intermediate guitar breaks. The Yes Album is the third album by British progressive rock band Yes. The first release to feature 24-year-old guitarist Steve Howe, the album was released on Atlantic Records in February 1971 in the UK, a month later in the United States. This was the album that finally set Yes' career alight, with the album reaching #4 in the UK and, eventually, #40 in the US, where it was a ...
TIME AND A WORD from the Dvd YES - THE LOST BROADCASTS available from www.yeslostbroadcastsdvd.com 2008 was an important year for Yes. It was the year in which the band celebrated its fortieth anniversary. The band, still led by founder Chris Squire, toured America with the latest line up to bear the name of this rather special band of musicians. 2008 was also important for another reason, as towards the end of the year, whilst looking for footage for an entirely different project, a researcher unearthed the footage that is now included on this DVD The band, despite short periods of inactivity and a great many changes in personnel, have weathered the storms of fashion and commercial whims and released almost twenty studio albums and a number of live albums in the period 1968 -2008. The performances featured on this DVD, however, are from the very early days of the band. You could say from a time Before and Beyond their massive success; but the spark of what made them the massively successful band they became is visible here for all to see and hear
For the week of August 10, IFC.com featured the video for "And Then I Dreamt of Yes." Directed by Mark Helfrich and inspired by Robert Wiene's German Expressionist classic, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, among other things, and shot in black and white, the video combines the surreal and the erotic into something visually stunning, and fits perfectly with the song, which happens to be one of the favorites of both band and director. As Zia McCabe explains, "'We as a band have a soft spot for old, vintagy, trippy stuff so Mark getting inspiration from The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari fit perfectly with our aesthetic. We had no problem coming up with our individual 'looks' for this video and filming with water pouring over us and having our eyes closed through entire shots was an interesting challenge. Mark and his crew did a fantastic job and any input we had during the final editing was minimal. I'm so glad such a beautiful piece of film was made for my favorite song on the album." "And Then I Dreamt of Yes" can be found on the Dandy Warhols full-length Earth To The Dandy Warhols, released last year on their own label, Beat The World Records. Having just put out another album, The Dandy Warhols ARE Sound the "Director's Cut" of 2003's Welcome To The Monkey House the band will begin an American tour in September 2009. From wikipedia: Going for the One is the eighth studio album by British progressive rock band Yes. It was released in 1977 after an extended break for solo activity, and is especially notable for marking the return of keyboardist Rick Wakeman, who had departed in 1974 in the aftermath of the Tales from Topographic Oceans tour. His re-entry was facilitated by the departure of Patrick Moraz, after having only played on Relayer, although Moraz is thanked in the credits. After their extended break, the band regrouped in Switzerland, refreshed and ready to record in late 1976. The album was recorded at Mountain Studios by recording engineers John Timperley and David Richards. After constructing epic tracks for the last few years, Yes felt inspired to scale things back a bit and recorded some of their most direct and concise material since Fragile. Wakeman also varied his sound by largely forsaking his mellotron and experimenting with church organ on "Parallels" and the sole extended track, "Awaken". Century Plaza Towers After many successive album covers with Roger Dean, Yes (who also produced the album entirely by themselves) instead commissioned Hipgnosis (known for designing album covers for Pink Floyd) to create the artwork for Going for the One. The album cover features the Century Plaza Towers in Los Angeles, also known locally as the Twin Towers. Yes's return at the height of the punk movement was an unexpectedly successful one, with Going for the One reaching the ...
My favorite band of all-time (other than the Beatles) YES live at the Paramount Theater, Denver, Colorado, July 12, 2009. This was Yes' first performance in the Denver area since 2004. This is from the master DV, which was converted into two DVDs, from which this was grabbed. Enjoy!
YES (Intro) "Sweetness" Anderson/Squire/Bailey Yes (band) Yes are an English progressive rock band that formed in London in 1968. Their music is marked by sharp dynamic contrasts, extended song lengths, abstract lyrics, and a general showcasing of instrumental prowess. Yes blend symphonic and other 'classical' structures with their own brand of musical style. Despite a great many lineup changes, occasional splits within the group and the ever-changing trends in popular music, the band has continued on for over forty years and still retains a large following.[1] Band members Chris Squire, Steve Howe and Alan White toured in late 2008 and early 2009 with vocalist Benoît David and keyboardist Oliver Wakeman on the In The Present Tour ... From Wikipedia: The album's concept, a two-disc, four-piece work of symphonic length and scope (based on the Shastric scriptures, as found in a footnote within Paramahansa Yogananda's book Autobiography of a Yogi), was their most ambitious to date. On release it received notably hostile reviews. Gordon Fletcher in his review in Rolling Stone described it as "psychedelic doodling". Chris Welch in Melody Maker described it as "Brilliant in patches, but often taking far too long to make its various points, and curiously lacking in warmth or personal expression".[1] Many Yes fans and casual listeners remain divided over whether or not this is one of the group's stronger works. Some Yes fans claim that it is far too excessive and obscure, while others see it as one of the band's masterpieces. Despite acquiring a reputation as an example of the worst excesses of "prog rock", Topographic Oceans became the band's fourth consecutive gold album. The album reached #1 in the UK album chart and also went into the US Top 10, even going gold in both countries from advance orders, before any fans had ever heard the content. One of the band members, Rick Wakeman, was dissatisfied with the album, and, during one performance of a song from the album, showed his distaste by downing tools and eating a curry on stage. This infamous incident was a spur to Wakeman leaving the group, to be replaced by Patrick Moraz, who appeared on the following album, Relayer. Part of Wakeman's unfavourable ...
From Wikipedia: Awaken is a song by the British progressive rock band Yes released on their acclaimed 1977 album Going for the One. At 15 minutes and 31 seconds it is the longest track on the album, occupying most of the second side of the LP. Many Yes fans, as well as lead singer/songwriter Jon Anderson himself, consider this song to be the best track in the band's entire recorded output: "We had a hit record! I loved listening to 'Awaken', at last we had created a Masterwork."[1] Like many extended Yes pieces, the song has a very complex harmonic and rhythmic structure and enigmatic lyrics. Along with the track "Parallels", also released on Going for the One, the song features a church organ played by Rick Wakeman. According to the booklet of the 2003 CD reissue, these parts were recorded at St. Martins Church, Vevey, Switzerland. In addition the track features a harp played by Jon Anderson, especially prominent in the quiet middle section beginning at 6:38 in the song. An embryonic version called "High Vibration" had already been played at some concerts back in 1975 when the band was promoting their previous album Relayer. Lasting something over one minute it only featured the starting lyrics (up to "Where Can I Be") and melody by Jon Anderson with a gentle layer of Steve Howe´s guitar and Patrick Moraz´s mellotron. At that time the tune was used as a melodic announcement to "The Gates of Delirium". Since 1977 the song´s staple in concerts has been Chris Squire playing ...

Parokya ni Edgar is a Filipino band that was formed in 1993 by a group of Ateneo de Manila High School students. The band is famous and most lauded for its original rock novelty songs and often satirical covers of famous songs. The band has since transcended musical genres, varying styles from one song to another - alternative rock to pop rock, funk to rapcore, and so on - while providing comic relief to their listeners. Reuploaded thanks to a tip from scunnewman. Thanks! From Wikipedia: "Roundabout" is the opening track for the 1971 album Fragile by British progressive rock band Yes. The song was written by singer Jon Anderson and guitarist Steve Howe. In January 1972, an edited version of the song was released as a single with "Long Distance Runaround" on the B-side. "Roundabout" has become one of the best-known songs by Yes. Live versions of the song are found on the albums Yessongs (1973), Keys to Ascension (1996), House of Yes: Live from House of Blues (2000), and Live at Montreux 2003 (2007). The Yessongs version was released as a single in 1974.[1] An acoustic arrangement of "Roundabout" was recorded for The Ultimate Yes: 35th Anniversary Collection, released in 2003. The single was one of the band's biggest hits in the United States, peaking at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 (then called the Pop Singles Chart).[2] The single version of the song was edited down to 3:27 for American pop radio airplay, although many stations played the full version of the song. "Roundabout" peaked at #22 on the Dutch Top 40.[3] Anderson has said that the song's cryptic lyrics simply came to him while driving to the studio one early morning. This explains the lyric "Call it morning driving through the sound and even in the valley". [citation needed] Howe's use of octave harmonics on the acoustic guitar introduction of the song and the instrumental break in the middle, plucking four notes that compose an ...

Gaither Vocal Band cantando Yes, I know (2008)
So I though this would be an alright song to start off my new youtube account. Fun song to listen to but boreing to play. Yes the OD path was bad but, what ever. I'll fix that in later videos. The drumset i'm using is the Rock Band 1 stock kit, with the Sock Mod. I will be getting my Rock Band 2 drumset soon. Here is a link to the introduction on the Sock Mod: rockband.scorehero.com I'm also using the Rock Band 1 stock pedal. It snaped a while ago but i put a medal plating on it and wraped it with duck tape. It's been holding out for some time now. But I orderd the Destroyer Pedal so I'll be useing that. Here's a link to the Destroyer Pedal: www.rockbandpedal.net To contact me for whatever reason, E-mail me at Ablepsey@aim.com To capture this video I used: Dazzle DVC100 Video Device Very good quality, not to exspensive, and easy to install. And yes, I play drums in real life, been playing them for 4 years.
This is a review of my newest Rock Band peripheral, the Rock Pedal(www.rockpedal.com). I got the sound working this time, so that's a huge improvement, haha. I'll include a video of me playing a song with it as soon as I get around to it. The pedal is $75, which may seem like a lot, but if you're a big drummer, it definitely makes a huge difference and is worth it. I've had a few friends come over who drum, and their first reaction is, "Ooh... yeah... That feels perfect..." Plus, even if you don't like it, as I said, you can just return it for all of your money back. Definitely one of my best purchases for Rock Band... FAQ -Yes, it connects to any Rock Band drum set, either the first or second one, and it connects to an Ion kit with an adapter (Which is included) -It does NOT work with the Guitar Hero: WT drumset. This is confirmed by Torey1337. The reason is unknown, but probably a driver issue.

RE-EDIT: FC run here! www.youtube.com EDIT: Minus 2 run here: www.youtube.com Pretty good run, hit some stuff I normally don't, and also missed some stuff I normally don't. :-/ By my count, the video skips 3 times. Once at toward the beginning, once during the organ break, and again towards the end. (I hate my computer) The first two aren't too bad, but the last one skips a good 3-5 seconds of game time. Let me head off some potential questions: 1): My computer glitched, that's why it skipped. It slowed down to a near stop while recording, then caught up again after a little bit. 2): Yes, the score suddenly goes up. This is because the video skips ahead in game time. Therefore, between where the video skipped and where it catches up again, there were several notes that I hit, with a correlating increase in score. This is further demonstrated during the organ break. When the video skips that time, the score remains the same, because there were no notes to hit. 3): Yes, I will continue my quest to make a good, skip-less video. Other questions: 4): Yes, I play real drums, too. I'm actually a huge Mike Portnoy fan, and a fan of progressive music in general. 5): I'm using an Adaptec Gamebridge to record my videos, taking direct input from my 360, which is why you don't hear the tapping of the drums and why I can't get footage of me playing the drum kit. 6): No, I'm not using the stock pedal. I'm using a DW5000 single pedal activating a Reed relay. More info on this setup in ...

TRIUMPH ======= Calling, it's calling, I can't stay here ...Knowing there's no higher. Going, I've gone for so many years... ...Going makes me tired. And they said it was this, and they said it was that, And they said it was this and they said... But it's... Call for me Jesus, I'm waiting here Knowing I'm a liar. Knowing I've known more than half my share... Knowing bade this triumph! ...and they said it was this, ...and they said it was that, And they said it was this and they said... But it's... WHAT?!?! Hooray for Dr. Young. Hooray for earth born and son. Hooray the time has come... We vanish once again. One word - Collective Mankind - CONNECTED Never going to die, we're always gonna live forever... ...ever... Every day, With my skies of grey, In my field of green... Witness does Yes. I don't think The TV folks were expecting the very hot signal blasting off Higgins's sound board, but the crowd loved it! (Rumor has it there were screams of pain and blood trickling out of the Channel 2 studio truck outside!) The result is a funky TV mix, but it's ok once you get used to it, and it gets better after their hearing returns.

The choir in the beginning is played by the guitar using a guitar synth pick up (Roland GK-2a) and a synth module (Roland GR-33).
