Warner Brothers has bought the right to "Fletch" the nine book series written by Gregory McDonald that saw it's first big screen adaptation back in 1985 Staring Chevy Chase. The comedy followed Fletch, a los angeles Journalist who really lived for his profession. Back in 2005 there were rumors that Kevin Smith was Attempting to develop the project with Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence signed on to write the script, with hopes that Zach Braff would possibly star. Well, The whole thing fell apart in the development process and the thing was left untouched till now. So Warner brothers now has the rights and we're just left to wait and see what they do with it. I REALLY love the show, I'm completely hooked.
