A simple mashup of putting the opening to the anime Zillion to the British TV show Prisoner and letting it run with some fairly nice results and some coincidental syncing between the audio and video. I did want to finish editing more Zillion footage with original Prisoner ending and the whole "I am not a number..." thing, but never got around to it. As it is I'm even too lazy ATM to remaster this from the original tape. :P

This was sourced from a Capitol Stereo vinyl LP. Capitol added all the reverb, which is how we originally heard this record in the USA. The "dry" non-reverb version is not what us in the USA heard when this record was a hit! Now - The story behind the record that I play: This album was a bootleg that was not authorized by EMI or The Beatles themselves. It was released in early 1973 and sold well until it was legally removed from stores by an injunction against AO. This album was the reason why The Beatles "red and blue" albums ("1962-1966" & "1967-1970") were issued. Prior to that there really had not been a Beatles greatest hits album, unless you count "Hey Jude" from 1970, which just compiled singles that had not been on an album before. . A few more facts: The audio source for the master pressings were Capitol vinyl LP's. This was sold on TV as an informercial, hence the "As Seen On TV" tag I added to the title. Just what was this company thinking - producing a bootleg and then promoting it in public on TV - did they think that EMI or Capitol would not notice?!!! The great thing that came out was that Capitol realized that they could sell a zillion greatest hits - hence the red & blue LP's.

Com o nome original "Akai Koudan Zillion" (Raio Vermelho Zillion) esse Anime estreou no Japão em meados de 1987.Zillion foi criado especialmente para vender os produtos da SEGA : uma pistola com sensor eletrônico , vc atirava num sensor/alvo q fica frente ao coração do inimigo, um tipo de paint ball sem bolas de tinta e com um alvo BEM difícil de acertar (*)... , a pistola Light Phaser (a que está na mão dos três na imagem abaixo) e jogos (**) para o console Master System.No Brasil foram vendidas essas Pistolas e alguns outros produtos (***) , não me recordo de todos...
