Bill Kelly...Bass/Vox Kenyon Christian...Guitar Hooter...Drums Gary Turnier...Guitar/Vox Hans' Monument is a rock n' roll band conceived in the basement bowels of a headstone carving business in the year of our lord 2006... and their haunting sound shows it! This four-piece from Salt Lake City, Utah, honed their sound for a year, freely inviting the ghostly muse to appear, before finally emerging from the basement to perform their first live show. Quality songwriting and always interesting sonic-scapes are amongst master vision notions of this band... and the product is mesmerizing. The band's sound features guitar work from Gary Turnier and Kenyon Christian. The tight rhythm section includes John "Hooter" Huettlinger on drums and Bill Kelley on bass, who keep the song's bones alive while the guitars decorate the skin. The Monument's music features four vocalists (though only three are mic'd), any of whom can seize the lead vocal or participate in luscious three-part harmonies. A very rare reunion of the definitive line up of the Potato Heads jamming live on the Rim Rock Patio in Torrey Utah. The Zion Curtain Family Reunion was an event dreamed up by Brenden Welsh and Angel Hayes that brought together a big chunk of the Salt Lake Punk scene from the 1080's era.
