It was kinda weird because the show was on a Sunday and like 3 other people showed up besides Zippy & I but it was still a lot of fun! We showed Zippy under "Put Some Zip in It" (: Thanks to everyone who voted!! We did a 2' warm up type of class then two 2.6 classes. We pinned 1st in the 2', and won a 2nd and 1st in the other 2.6 classes! (: I'm so proud of her!!

Basic Stir Fry Sauce Ingredients: 1 tbsp oil 1 tsp. sesame oil 1tbs minced garlic 1 ½ tbs minced ginger 1/ 2 cup vegetable broth 3 Tbs. soy sauce 1 Tbs. brown sugar ½ tsp of lime of lemon juice 1/ 4 tsp. pepper 1/2 tbsp rice vinegar 1 tsp cornstarch 1 Tbs. rice wine or sherry (optional if not just use water) Red crushed pepper or sambal (optional) Directions: Heat the oil in a saucepan. Add the ginger and garlic and saute for 30 second over medium heat to bring out the flavor and the great aroma. Dissolve the corn starch in the rice wine and save it for later. Add the vegetable broth and all the other ingriedents. Bring just to a boil. Whisk the corn starch into the sauce. Heat until sauce thickens and reaches a full boil. Simmer for 30 seconds. Remove from the heat and set aside. Of course, the next time you purchase some spaghetti sauce in a glass jar. ok so it's our first jumper course and the first time she's gone over a 2'6" oxar. We messed up on the strides, but we're working on it some more now :) please no mean comments. Zip's been nothing but amazing, it was rider error with the strides between fences.
In this video, Betty responds to a viewer request--demonstrating the making of frosted grapes. Betty also shows two other quick-fix Sweet Treat Finger Foods--something for everyone!!! Frosted Grapes: Ingredients: 1 egg white 1 cup sugar splash of lemon juice 1 cup sugar 40 medium-sized red seedless grapes, frozen in a zip-lock bag for at least 3 hours (and up to a week) Whisk the splash of lemon juice together with the egg white until frothy. Place all 40 frozen grapes into the frothy egg white. Strain any excess egg white through a colander of sieve. Then blot the grapes with paper toweling. You need the grapes to be sticky, but not dripping with egg white. This is very important! Now, pour 1 cup of sugar into a quart-sized zip-lock bag. Place the grapes, a few at a time, into the bag of sugar. Shake well, until grapes are coated. Remove the grapes to a serving plate or storage container. Continue to coat the grapes with sugar until all are coated. Let them stand until they are dry. This will not take long if you have not left a lot of egg white mixture on the grapes. Refrigerate until ready to use. You can use them as a decoration, but they are edible. The current view on raw egg white is that if it comes from an egg with no cracks and is not mixed with the yolk at all, it is safe to eat. This is an elegant look for a dinner party! **Watch in High quality/Definition** I rode zippy on 2nd may in the morning before my riding lesson, and she was amazing, we did some walk, trot and a few poles (they where not jumps, but she jumped over the pole that was on the ground!). Then i went to my lesson at hulberts after, rode chocky. For the first ten minutes i didnt have strurips, because they were too small so they had to be changed. So i warmed up in walk and trot without them. Once i got different ones, i asked Paula if i could do a little work in trying to get Chocky in an outline, while the others where warming up. In the end Chocky went quite nicely in a outline and i was quite happy with her. Then we did some jumping, and by the way i know i need to get her going alot more. It went up to 2'3ft, which i had not ever done on chocky and i sat deep in the saddle because i thought she would refuse, but she didnt, i was very proud of her, and for the whole lesson i didnt have not even one refusal. This year i will be doing cross country for the first time, and hopefully i will do it on chocky, :L fun! When the song changes at the end it has a couple of clips and pictures from when me and gemma hacked out on her today (4th may). She was super well behaved, tried getting her in a outline, but shes quite hard too. The last part of the video (4th may) doesnt have many effects, because i had to change the last song because youtube removed it! :@
