Snow day on the 10th birthday. Of course we had to take the new sled for a ride. I almost got run over, as did a little girl, but all was well. This sled is a GREAT gift idea!

Gail is filming our Zipfy Outing with tons of fresh powder snow. This took place approx. January 2010. I'm in front of her, in the yellow jacket. Zipfys are much harder to go fast on when there is this much powder unless you are on a very steep slope.

Super fun ride!
I can't say enough about how much fun this ride is!! My friends and I hiked up a snowpacked, 1.5 mile road in Millcreek Canyon, near SLC, Utah, in the Wasatch Mountains. It took about an hour to hike up since it climbs continually in elevation. Roughly 6500 - 7000 ft. above sea level. Then when you've had enough climbing, sit down and enjoy the ride for about 8 minutes - all the way down to the cars!! Trevor, my son, and I were having a little competition at one point and we both crashed, which of course doesn't hurt. I believe the Zipfy is THE SAFEST, most in control, mini luge sled you can ride down a mountain, in the snow. In this video, you will see that I can control my speed and make turns whenever I need to with no problem. Even a beginner on a Zipfy for the first time will feel comfortable riding on it, compared to other sledding devices which take much longer to learn how to control. Draven, Dante and Cimbery try out their new Zipfy in the lame winter of 2010. Better sliding videos to follow as we finally had a snow storm. The Zipfy is fantastic. It makes all other sliding devices seem like a 100yrs old. You can steer and your but doesn't hurt. You can also stop by putting your feet down.

This clip is raw footage from the 4D live simulation ride at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver - the theater audience is taken on a wild and surreal Zipfy ride starting on the fresh powder then proceeding through the air, over Niagara Falls, past the CN Tower, over Lake Ontario, and through the beautiful scenery that Ontario has to offer. This footage is just the 3 young Canadian riders that you find at the beginning and end of the film. The production is sponsored by the Ontario Ministry of Tourism.
