The Magic Lantern Wiki Page were you can find all the files and information you'll need to install the firmware hack: magiclantern.wikia.com This video goes over a few of the main menu's and things to look out for once you've installed the Magic lantern T2i firmware update. Remember this is a hack and if you make a mistake when installing it, you could damage your camera. There are still a few bugs with the software including the fact that you have to press the menu or shutter button to get some of the graphic's to redraw. But after testing and using it for a few day's I think I feel comfortable taking it out on a job. I'll still bring my 7d with me (of course), but having the option to properly record audio to the camera makes life a lot easier. After trying to think how to enhance the quality of Garry's Mod machinimas, I came up with one effect called "Dolly Zoom". You can read about it in wikipedia, but basically, it's just camera moving in the direction of the subject and zooms out at the same time. The rule also works backwards.

Original composition by Kevin OToole with progressive zooming in and out of the Mandelbrot Set, up to 500 billion x magnification. The composition is set to the chords of an earlier original piece Sepulchre for piano, with the addition of a 24-bar bridge. The tenor saxophone part is a mixture of improvised and composed portions, with multiphonic sections (simultaneous playing of two notes) at :45 and 2:45. The piano left hand is similar to that of the first version of Sepulchre (with the exception of the bridge), while the right hand is a mixture of self-composed countermelodies and those borrowed from a Yann Teirsen song with a similar chord structure. The audio (with both instuments being played by myself) was spliced together using Windows Movie Maker. The video was compiled using Camtasia Studio 6. The images used for the video were taken from Wikipedia and generated by the program Ultra Fractal 3. Sorry about the video blip at 1:22. That was my mistake.
