Here is my review / thoughts on the Zune HD guys. It's an excellent music player, possibly the best MP3 player out there. But because of the lack of support and Microsoft only allowing access to the Zune Marketplace in the United States, I think the Zune may in fact be dead. Audio enthusiasts looking for an excellent quality music player will love it but anyone looking for more features should look elsewhere. Thanks for watching guys, Rock On.

All in all this is a pretty god damn sexy device. But, if you're a Apple fan boy don't leave any obnoxious comments saying, "ZUNES BLOW GET AN IPOD" Half of you haven't even touched a zune let alone even seen one aside from videos. So grow up and don't bother. Back to the review. With a nice brush aluminum back and VERY nice accelerometer add to the wonders of this OLED player. The sound quality is slightly better than the iPod. With crystal clear video and sound. You gotta love it. All the apps currently are free on Zune Marketplace. So snatch them now! Thanks for watching and I hoped this helped you decide on what you wanted. Also, I haven't had the zune for very long at all, so a lot of features focusing on music, were not included. Microsoft recently released the Zune HD 4.5 firmware update that added Smart DJ and Picks with support for more video codecs. There is also another update that is a removal I am sure you will appreciate.

Price range: $220.00- $599.99 The Good The Zune HD's brilliant OLED display, HD Radio tuner, long battery life, movie rentals, and subscription music integration finally give iPod expatriates something to shout about. The bad: You still can't use the Zune with a Mac, Marketplace purchases require "Microsoft Points," video format support is limited, audio quality lacks advanced controls, you'll need to purchase a dock accessory for HD video output, application and game selection stinks, and the recommended music subscription plan puts the real-world cost higher than the iPod. The bottom line: The Zune HD delivers one of the best portable music and video experiences money can buy. At a time when many people have shifted their focus to games and applications, providing a killer media experience may not be enough for potential Zune buyers.
