@argoneus1 probably, and the laptop has more memory and a faster cpu so of would be strange if it were slower

Surprised Seagate authorized an RMA in 5 minutes. More surprised that the drive started working again, then stopped working.

It figures the first time I ever pay for Windows the hard drive on which it is installed fails. Maybe it will work in the morning.
